Summary:
The people of Dressrosa continue to push the birdcage as it reaches the Royal Platform and begins to break it. Riku Doldo III and Tank Lepanto rush to the SMILE factory and help the people push it, and Riku praises everyone for helping save Dressrosa. This gives people more spirit to keep pushing.
Elsewhere, Rebecca yells at Viola to stop attacking Doflamingo for fear of her aunt’s life. Viola kicks Doflamingo, but Doflamingo easily blocks it, saying that he wouldn’t hesitate to kill Viola even though she was once a Donquijote pirate. Doflamingo then immobilizes Viola and takes control of Rebecca, ordering her to kill Viola. Rebecca heads towards Viola against her will and they both beg Doflamingo to stop.
The citizens continue to run away from the Birdcage, but it has shrunk so much that there is nowhere left to go. The Colosseum gladiators continue to push against Bartolomeo’s barrier, and Kyros wonders where Rebecca is. At that moment, Gatz activates Den Den Mushi and broadcasts through Dressrosa. The citizens are shocked to hear him and try to figure out why he’s broadcasting, but Gatz continues and reminds everyone of the star of tonight’s Corrida Colosseum tournament. Cavendish listens intently when he suddenly realizes that Law is gone. Gatz then lists said star’s accomplishments and everyone realizes he’s talking about “Lucy”. While Rebecca pleads with Lucy for help, Gatz reveals to everyone that Lucy was Monkey D. Luffy, shocking them.
Gatz then recalls the takeover of Dressrosa ten years ago by the Donquixote Pirates by taking over Riku and tells everyone that Luffy promised to take out Doflamingo in one hit. This causes the citizens to cheer and Gatz taunts Doflamingo, calling him a false king and telling him that Dressrosa will be his execution ground. Gatz then shouts that it will only be ten seconds before Luffy returns. Meanwhile, Hajrudin succumbs to his injuries and falls as the effects of the Teardelions wear off, soon followed by Dagama and Ide. Mansherry cries with regret for giving them false hope, but Kabu assures her that she has saved many lives with her abilities.
With Gatz’s encouragement, the gladiators still standing continue to push and the citizens cheer Luffy on. Doflamingo finally reaches the end of his patience and stabs Gatz with a string. The countdown finally reaches zero as Gatz falls, reiterating his confidence that Luffy will defeat Doflamingo in one hit. Rebecca approaches Viola, who tells her crying niece that she would hate her for this and that she did nothing wrong. As Rebecca prepares to strike Viola, Viola silently apologizes. Suddenly, Law uses the ROOM to switch Luffy with Viola. Luffy catches Rebecca’s sword with his forehead, which is covered in Busoshoku Haki, and breaks it as a result. Law then frees Viola when Doflamingo calls out Luffy’s name. Gatz then announces to the citizens that Luffy has returned as they cheer for Luffy’s arrival as Luffy and Doflamingo stand again.
