Summary:
At the entrance to the SMILE Factory, Franky urges the dwarves to tear her down once and for all, and they happily oblige. As they rush in, Franky collapses from his wounds and tasks Luffy with finishing everything as the chaos continues in the streets of Dressrosa.
On the Flower Field, Diamante uses the move “Half Moon Glaive” which causes the field to rip open with a shock wave. Kyros, Rebecca, and Robin barely manage to avoid it, and Diamante taunts Kyros, saying that he surpassed the former gladiator in strength and is now the true hero of the Coliseum. Kyros declares that he doesn’t care about titles and honors as he charges Diamante, even as the manager uses his fruit powers to avoid being struck by the former gladiator. Kyros then collapses from exhaustion, though Diamante praises him for his ability to run on the ground and fight him on the shaking ground while protecting his daughter while doing so on only one leg when a normal person would have collapsed long ago. Kyros bluntly states that he does not need the handicap, saying that he gave his leg to the man who gave him everything. Diamante then states that he will no longer handicap Kyros, but decides to play with him a bit, knowing that it would be too easy to finish him off.
Diamante then pulls out several confetti cannons that seem to shoot confetti into the air. This confuses Robin and Rebecca, but Diamante reveals that he used his powers to create confetti, turning them into spiked steel balls. Balls then rain down on everyone present and Kyros tells Robin to protect Rebecca. Robin reminds Kyros that he’s in danger too, but Kyros says he’ll be fine. As Diamante pulls out a steel umbrella to protect himself, he happily bids farewell to his three opponents as spiked balls are nearly impossible to survive and entire armies have been destroyed by this attack. However, Robin uses “Mil Fleur: Flower Umbrella” to protect Rebecca and herself with a canopy of flowers, while Kyros uses his sword to deflect any orbs that come his way, declaring that he was not the captain of such an army. would fall victim to such an attack. Shocked by Kyros’ prowess, Diamante shoots Kyros in the leg as a last resort, causing him to fall and be hit by the ball.
Rebecca throws a tantrum at Diamante for his actions and tries to lunge at the manager, though Robin holds her back. Robin carefully notices that the flower umbrella is close to its limit and wonders when the rain will stop when Kyros suddenly manages to stand up and tell Rebecca to drop the sword. Rebecca and Diamante are both shocked and Rebecca urges her father to come to Robin’s umbrella so he doesn’t die. Kyros tells Rebecca that she fulfilled her mother’s wish not to hurt people, as she remembers how he trained her as a Thunder Soldier to fight without harming anyone, at the cost of being mocked by the other warriors. Despite Rebecca fighting in the Coliseum, Kyros knows that her hands are still clean and that Scarlett lives on in them. Kyros rushes towards Diamante and tells Rebecca that he won’t let her get her hands dirty on this poor person.
Diamante is shocked that Kyros is still moving and wonders if his body is made of steel or if he just went crazy as they clash swords. Kyros retorts that his pain is proof of his humanity, something the Donquixote Executive could never understand as he remembers his time as a Thunder Soldier and says that the spiked orb rain that Diamante created was nothing compared to when on your loved one has forgotten him. and is unable to feel, and although his body is not made of steel, he embodies the anger that Dressrosa feels towards the Donquixote pirates. Diamante is now even more shocked by Kyros’ will, but is convinced that he is still the better swordsman. The two reach a stalemate, and Diamante prepares to use another Half Moon attack to kill Kyros, just as Scarlett did. Kyros rushes towards Diamante while remembering Scarlett, and Diamante dares him to avoid another attack, but the former gladiator refuses. Just as Diamante prepares to execute his attack, Kyros counters and uses “Trueno Bastard” to pierce Diamante’s sword and defeat Donquijote.
