 Summary:

Nami makes a deal with Igaram: he will save the princess for a reward of Beli 1,000,000,000. However, he only wants money and asks Zoro to fight. He shows us his great abilities to manipulate people and is able to convince Zoro. Meanwhile, the princess tries to escape Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, after Mr. 9, it’s Miss Monday’s turn to help her, but she’s no match. While Mr. 5 is about to kill her, Zoro suddenly appears and saves her. Luffy, for his part, has also awakened and seems to hold a grudge against Zoro.
Igaram is irritated by Nami Beli’s offer of 1,000,000,000 to protect Vivi. As Luffy is still asleep, Zoro questions if Nami should still be unconscious from all the alcohol she drank at the welcome party. Nami retorted that she didn’t want to drink and let her guard down due to her suspicions of the Whiskey Peak villagers’ behavior before boasting that she could drink a lot more if she put her mind to it, much to Zoro’s chagrin. Nami turns to Igaram and happily asks him if he can guarantee the payment, also reminding the commander of the royal guard Arabasta that without their help, Nefertari Vivi could die.
After some bartering, Igaram tells Nami that he will have to negotiate payment with Vivi herself, only after her safe passage to Arabasta is secured – Nami agrees with a haughty sigh, then orders Zoro to assist the princess.
Shocked, Zoro initially refuses, claiming that she should be responsible for the money scheme, before Nami quips that even though the money is hers, the contract involves the entire Straw Hat crew. They continue to argue as Luffy wakes up from his sleep to urinate, ignoring the arguments of his crewmates. Nami eventually talks a frustrated Zoro into helping her by offering to cancel Bella’s unpaid 200,000 in added interest on the money she loaned him in Loguetown.
As Zoro leaves to assist Vivi, cursing that Nami will not have a peaceful death, Igaram laments his weakness for not being able to protect Vivi. Nami assures him that Zoro is “monstrously strong”, with Igaram reiterating that Vivi’s survival is incredibly important to Arabasta’s future.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Vivi tries to escape Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine by going to the Karoo on a ship anchored behind Cactus Rock. Mr. 5 comments on how useless her efforts are. Miss Monday helps a grateful Vivi by getting in the way of the two agents from the Baroque Cannons, reasoning that the entire group of bounty hunters in Whiskey Peak will be equally punished for suffering defeat at the hands of Zoro. Disappointed by her tarnishing the Baroque Works name, Mr. 5 incapacitates Miss Monday with a single clothesline that explodes on impact.
He proceeds to explain to a shocked Vivi that his very person is a human bomb that can cause any body part to explode after eating Bomu Bomu no Mi; then he twitches his nose, flicks a bogey, and then launches the Nose Fancy Cannon. Suddenly, Zoro cuts him in half and saves a surprised Vivi; the resulting explosive fragments destroy buildings lining the road. Mr. 5 wonders who the swordsman is.
Zoro is disgusted that he has to cut the bogey in half. At first Vivi believes that Zoro is there to prevent her escape and attack him; Zoro casually blocks it and informs that he is actually there to save her.
The scene then jumps to Nami asking Igarama about baroque works; he tells her it’s a secret criminal organization where none of its members know the true identity of their boss, a man who gives orders ranging from intelligence gathering to assassinations. Nami questions why the members of the organization are following the orders of an unknown entity; Igaram replies that the group’s ultimate goal is to create an ideal nation, with high-ranking positions given to those individuals who bring great success to the organization. He also reveals that the boss is codenamed Mr. 0, explaining that the lower the number, the taller and stronger that particular person will be in this ideal nation; emphasizes that the power of those with a number of 5 or lower is “abnormal”.
Luffy is now seen walking by the river running through the city and has just peed. He is shocked by something off the panel.
We return to the two Baroque Cannon agents who identify Zoro as the one who defeated the city agents; they further ask him why he is protecting Vivi. After an ambiguous answer from Zoro, the pair prepare to attack, Miss Valentine bragging about her Devil Fruit ability.
However, Luffy interrupts him, yelling from a distance at the road that he swears he will never forgive Zoro and challenges his crewmate to a fight, much to Zoro’s surprise.
