Summary:
Mr. 8, Mr. 9, and Miss Wednesday are the only ones left in Zoro’s way. Despite their weapons and techniques, Zoro is able to overpower him at first. Mr. 9 manages to tie up Zoro’s arm and Miss Wednesday takes Luffy hostage, but Zoro sends Mr. 9 flying into Miss Wednesday before defeating Mr. 8 and winning the battle.
Mr. 8, Mr. 9, and Miss Wednesday are shaken and angry at their forces’ inability to take down Zoro. Determined to fulfill his duty of guarding this city, Mr. 8 pulls out his saxophone and blows it, causing Zoro to shoot bullets. Zoro dodges the shots and Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday start moving. While Mr. 9 jumps onto the roof, Miss Wednesday mounts her Karoo Duck to use its great speed to chase after Zoro. Karoo has trouble following Miss Wednesday’s instructions, and Mr. 9 performs acrobatic flips to attack Zoro from behind with two metal bats. He’s cocky about the power of his bats and warns Zoro not to get his swords slashed, but Zoro manages to unnerve him by just quickly drawing his sword and pointing it at the agent. Mr. 9 loses his cool as he recklessly slaps Zoro’s sword, and Zoro wonders where his acrobatic prowess has gone. Mr. 9 decides to show him again and does a backflip, but ends up jumping off the roof and falling to the ground.
Zoro wonders if there is anyone more competent here when Miss Wednesday confronts him. She performed a dance, using the spiral design of her top to make Zoro dizzy. Zoro was stunned by the dance and Miss Wednesday lunged at him to finish him off with her Peacock Cleavers. However, Karoo moved so that her weapon-carrying hand was on the wrong side, and Miss Wednesday fell off the roof. Zoro was embarrassed to have to fight these people but he had to quickly dodge Mr. 8’s more shots. Zoro cut a hole in the roof and descended to the ground where he hid in an alley and ran into Mr. 9 again. Mr. 9 extended the tip of one of his bats with an iron rope and tied one of Zoro’s arms with it. Miss Wednesday then brought out a sleeping Luffy and threatened to kill him if Zoro moved. Mr. 8 fires at Zoro with the guns in his hair, but Zoro pulls the rope and sends Mr. 9 into the path of the explosive shots. Zoro then throws Mr. 9 at Miss Wednesday and Karoo, sending them away from Luffy. Using Luffy’s bloated body as a springboard, Zoro bounces towards Mr. 8 and slashes him with one slash as the battle draws to a close.
