One Piece Episode 899

Summary:

As Komachiyo flees with Luffy, Zoro, and a sick Tama, Hawkins chases after them with the straw entity. Zoro fends off the straw entity’s attacks and eventually defeats it. After the group escapes from Hawkins, Tsuru, who was hiding in Komachiya’s tail, reveals herself and invites the group to her tea house in Okobore town where she can help Tama.

Hawkins draws a “Reverse Hierophant” card and sends a straw monster to chase after Komachiya, armed with a spiked bat. Zoro fends off the monster’s attacks. He deals hits on the creature, but Hawkins redirects the damage to his minions. The monster then starts shooting nails at Zoro, causing minor damage, before striking Komachiyo. However, Zoro ends up cutting off the monster’s hand. He finishes the monster with the move “Nigiri: Toro Samon” and cuts the monster in two before it disintegrates.

Although the monster was destroyed, Hawkins is unharmed, redirecting the damage to the subordinate. He draws a third tarot card and chooses the “Hierophant” card. He predicts that someone will help guide Luffy and Zoro to safety.

Luffy and Zoro successfully escape Hawkins, but Tama’s fever worsens and Komachiyo approaches a fork in the road. The woman who was hiding in Komachiya’s tail the whole time appears. She explains that she is the one Zoro saved from the pirate raiders earlier. He leads Komachiyo to the town of Okobore where they can go to her tea house and brew a cure for Tama’s condition.
