Summary:
The Neptune family and some other royals reached the top of the red line and entered Mary Geoise. They then arrive at Pangea Castle and meet all the Levely participants. Shirahoshi meets Rebecca and Nefertari Vivi after overhearing them talking about Luffy.
A group of royals including Neptune’s family and Sterry reach the top of the red line on a bondola and ascend the grand staircase leading to Mary Geoise. They are greeted by a guard who is actually Sabo in disguise. The Neptune family receives new bubbles suitable for the elevated climate, and after climbing the stairs, the royal family looks out over the pristine landscape of Mary Geoise. They are still far from Castle Pangea, but the guards lead them to moving walkways known as travelators. Fukaboshi decides not to stay on the travelator and offers Shirahoshi to take him through the forest instead. The Neptune family is escorted into the forest and Sterry mocks them for shunning modern conveniences, but Fukaboshi senses something is wrong. Unbeknownst to him, his intuition is correct as the travelers are moved underground by forced slave labor, with the slaves on the brink of death. Meanwhile, Charlos of the World Noble Realm spots Shirahoshi through his binoculars and is ecstatic to see the mermaid princess.
The royal family eventually reaches Castle Pangea, where they mingle happily with representatives of other nations before the Levely begins. The royal family is stunned to see the famous Shirahoshi for the first time, with many offering their sons as potential suitors. Shirahoshi quickly becomes upset and rejects them all, causing the royals to feel rejected and angry. Fukaboshi and Ryuboshi quickly intervened to try to diffuse the situation, claiming that Shirahoshi spoke a different dialect while telling his sister to let down her suitors easily. Meanwhile, Nefertari Vivi meets Leo for the first time and calls him cute, much to his chagrin. He tells her that he is a pirate who serves under Luffy, and Vivi and Rebecca marvel at their shared connection to Luffy.
Two years ago, Vivi sailed the Straw Hats to save her land of Arabasta from the Crocodiles and the Baroque Works. On their way, they put x marks on their arms so they wouldn’t be mistaken for them. While in Arabasta, she got into an argument with Luffy, who was against her ideal of protecting the land alone. After a short fight, Luffy stated that if Vivi was going to carry this burden, they would at least take it on themselves. Crocodile raised a rebel army to try to depose the royal family, and when they attacked the capital city of Alubarna and fought the royal army, the Straw Hats fought agents of the Baroque Races. Usopp and Chopper defeated Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas, Sanji defeated Mr. 2 Bon Kurei, Nami defeated Miss Doublefinger, and Zoro defeated Mr. 1. Vivi tried desperately to stop the two armies from fighting and succeeded in stopping the fight. Luffy defeated the Crocodile and rain began to fall on the ground again. A few days later, Vivi pondered whether to continue sailing with the Straw Hats or stay in her country. When the Strawmen set sail, she called to them from the shore and bade them good-bye, for she had resolved to remain in her country. To keep their parting secret, the Straw Hats showed Vivi the x marks on their arms. Back in the present, Shirahoshi overhears Vivi and Rebecca and asks if they know Luffy. Ryuboshi quickly tried to intervene because he didn’t want Shirahoshi to reveal her friendship to Luffy, and Vivi and Rebecca aren’t sure if she’s a friend either. However, Shirahoshi ignores her brother’s warning and the three are happy to find more of Luffy’s friends as they reminisce about their experiences with him.
