Summary:
As Luffy loses the advantage, Katakuri returns to attack. Luffy backs off as he realizes his Gear 4 is about to end. After his Gear 4 wears off, Luffy flees and encounters Brûlée, who he uses to escape the mirror world. They arrive at Nuts Island, where Big Mom is on a rampage.
Thanks to Praline, the Big Mom Pirates lose territorial sea slugs and the means to track their enemies. Still, Big Mom’s Pirates assemble their fleet to hunt down their enemies.
At Cacao Island, Sanji finishes his special ingredient, the pudding finishes with chocolate, and Chiffon finishes baking the cake. The chefs then plan to finish the cake on their way to the Thousand Sunny.
In Mirro-World, Luffy is determined to defeat Katakuri, but Katakuri balances Gear 4 with his Chikara Mochi punches, and Luffy is once again unable to hit him at all. Katakuri ties Luffy’s mochi strands around his body and attacks him with mochi tendrils from the ground. Luffy then finds himself stunned when Katakuri creates several ranged weapons and is unable to dodge Chikara Mochi as long as he is punched into a wall. On Cocoa Island, Sanji reaffirms to Pudding that Luffy will defeat Katakuri and their only task is to bake the cake, which he proceeds to do with great enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, Amande, Mondée and Effilée arrive at Nuts Island after hearing that it is threatened by Big Mom. Amande watches as the cake-crazed Big Mom lands on the island and begins tearing up buildings in search of the wedding cake, much to her and Perospera’s dismay. Back in the Mirror World, Katakuri predicts that Gear 4 will soon expire, which ends up greatly benefiting Luffy when he finds out and immediately starts running away. Katakuri turns his entire body into mochi and slides along the ground at a very high speed just as Gear 4 fades out and Luffy tries to keep his distance from Katakuri as he now needs 10 minutes before he can use Haki again. Katakuri attacks Luffy with Chikara Mochi and he tries to dodge it. However, he then spots Brûlée around the corner and becomes ecstatic as he grabs her and jumps through one of the mirrors. Horrified that Brûlée left herself open to this, Katakuri tries to catch them before they run away, but is too late and breaks the mirror instead. Luffy and Brûlée end up at a house on Nuts Island, and Luffy’s plan to rest there for 10 minutes is interrupted when a furious Big Mom tears the house apart. There, Luffy and Brûlée watch in shock as Big Mom tears up Nuts Island while Perospero and Amande try to stop her.
On Whole Cake Island, Mont-d’Or receives a call from Custard to inform her that her ship has been lost to the Fire Tank Pirates. Custard reveals that she hasn’t received any signals from the territorial sea slugs, which shocks Mont-d’Or as he faces the same problem of chasing the Straw Hats and wonders what happened to them. At Nostra Castello, Bege wonders why the other Big Mom Pirates aren’t chasing them, and Vito points out that the Territorial Sea Slugs don’t seem to be working and connecting with the Den Den Mushi crew like they normally would. Bege orders his crew to take the ship by the shortest route to Cacao Island, where they will pick up Chiffon. At Sunny, the Straw Hats notice that they are not being chased either, and Jinbe wonders if Aladdin and the Sun Pirates made it safely. Back on Whole Cake Island, Mont-d’Or receives word that the territorial sea slugs are nowhere to be found, much to his shock and anger. Deep in the ocean, the Sea Slugs gather around Charlotte Praline as she sings to get them and stop them from doing their job, and Aladine hopes this will help Jinbe.
In response to this turn of events, Mont-d’Or gathers several Tarte fleets from across Totto Land, as well as Queen Mama Chanter. Thousands of Big Mom Pirates on these ships are ordered to find and hunt down the Straw Hats, Fire Tank Pirates, and Sun Pirates. Back on Cacao Island, one of the WCI 31 is on the verge of death due to the sheer happiness of eating Sanji’s finished Simsim’s Whipped Cream. Chiffon’s Chiffon Cake and Chocolate Icing Pudding are also done and Sanji comments that they are having a good time. He decides to bring the ingredients to the ship and build the cake as they sail towards Sunny, and is excited to deliver it to Big Mom.
