One Piece Episode 854

Summary:

The Sunny’s crew break all the mirrors on the ship and plan with Luffy to reunite at Cacao Island at 1:00 AM. However, Brûlée overhears this conversation and discovers that the other Strawmen are alive. He tells Perospero, but to his dismay, Big Mom decides to leave for Nuts Island. Meanwhile, the Big Mom Pirates have invaded the Germa Kingdom.

Back in the Mirror World, Katakuri pulls out his Mogura Trident to attack Luffy. Luffy tries to avoid his devastating attacks and Katakuri continues to have the advantage as Luffy can’t hit him.

Brûlée finds another mirror leading to Sunny, and Mascarpone and Joscarpone prepare to shoot flaming arrows at it. However, Sunny’s crew quickly sets about finding and breaking all the remaining mirrors on the ship, and the Big Mom pirates are shocked when they shatter. Mascarpone and Joscarpone think Sunny fell into the ocean, causing the mirrors to break, but Brûlée is suspicious. Luffy notices the shattering mirrors and grabs Chopper on the other side of the mirror shard he has. Luffy escapes from Katakuri and the Big Mom Pirates to speak to them secretly, and Chopper reveals that Jinbe saved them from Big Mom’s tidal wave. Wondering how Luffy will get back to them, the crew come up with a plan to have Luffy reunite with them on Cocoa Island, where they plan to reach in 10 hours at 1:00 AM. However, just then, Katakuri attacks Luffy and breaks the mirror shard. Luffy tries to get away from Katakuri while holding the tiny remains of the mirror, but is smashed to the ground by a giant mochi ax, leaving his crew very worried. However, Luffy acts as if everything is fine and approves the plan to reunite at Cacao Island, much to the celebration of his teammates.

In Sweet City, Count Niwatori questions Mont-d’Or about the condition of the Straw Hats, fearing that they may have escaped from Totto Land. However, Mont-d’Or assures him that the Territorial Sea Slugs will soon sense them and they, along with the Germ Kingdom, will be overwhelmed. In the Germa Kingdom, the Big Mom Pirates have launched their attack. Yonji fights Charlotte Basskarte and initially overpowers him as she easily deals with her flame shots. However, when Yonji lunges at him, Basskarte uncovers his mouth and breathes a large stream of fire that engulfs the former.

As Luffy struggles to get up, Katakuri pulls out his Mogura Trident from his arm and correctly predicts Luffy’s statement that he won’t die here. Scoffing at the statement, Brûlée jumps out of the mirror to tell Luffy that he has no hope of defeating Katakuri, saying that her brother is a superhuman who has never laid down since he was born. Luffy gets mad and tries to punch Brûlée, but Katakuri grabs his arm and throws him against a wall. Katakuri then transforms his arm into a mochi and uses Mochi Tsuki to spin it around and strike Luffy with Mogura. Luffy barely dodges the blow and is stunned by the damage left on the wall behind him before being forced to run away as the damage caused the entire section to collapse. As Luffy and Katakuri continue to fight, it is revealed that Brûlée overheard Luffy talking to his crew and discovered that they were still alive. She contacts Perospero to tell him about this and reveals the plan to meet on Cocoa Island, much to Perospero’s relief as he thinks that baking the pudding on Cocoa Island will allow him to cover up his lie. He tells Big Mom to go to Cacao Island, but to his horror, she decides to head to nearby Nuts Island instead. Back in the Mirror World, Katakuri maintains his advantage against Luffy by overpowering him with Mogura, and Luffy continues to be unable to lay a hand on him. He tries to use the Thor Elephant Gun to punch Katakuri into the ground, but Katakuri transforms into a mochi to avoid him, and after transforming back, he punches Luffy in the air before Mochi Tsuki tries to hit him again.
