Summary:
Zunesha, the elephant carrying Zou on his back, spews water at Zou, throwing the Straw Hats into chaos. Meanwhile, Kin’emon, Kanjuro, and Bariete attempt to climb back onto Zou, but the water causes Kanjuro to melt. Reuniting with Law and the rest of the Straw Hats, Luffy, Wanda, and Carrot head to the Right Belly Fortress, where they receive an unexpectedly friendly welcome from the minks. They then reunite with Nami and Chopper, but Nami begins to cry as she begins to reveal something about Sanji.
As Zou begins to shake from the upcoming Eruption Rain, the Heart Pirates climb the trees while Luffy joins Wanda and Carrot on Wanya’s back. In Kurau City, the concerned Straw Hats wonder why Zou is shaking. Wany begins to run when the elephant carrying Zou on his back, Zunesha, raises its trunk and spits out a large amount of water at Zou. The Straw Hats run away, but realize it’s too late to avoid it. Meanwhile, Wany, Wanda and Carrot are submerged in the raging flood and eventually emerge from it; then he realizes that Luffy has fallen away. They see Luffy waving in the rapids and Carrot jumps through the tree branches to save him. Carrot barely misses Luffy’s hand when he dives under the water and a shark approaches him. Just as Luffy is at the shark’s mouth, Carrot grabs him and brings him back to Wany. Meanwhile, Kin’emon, Kanjuro, and Bariete climb back to Zo on a cat that Kanjuro has drawn that they call Nekozaemon. Suddenly, water from the Eruption Rain flows down, explaining the source to Bariete. Kanjuro reveals that the water causes Nekozaemons to melt when they are hit by the cascade.
Meanwhile, Wany swims through the flood and Wanda explains to Luffy that Zunesha used to wash herself twice a day by splashing water on her back. The Norwegians took advantage of this by building aqueduct systems to obtain drinking water, as well as catching fish for food. Bepo then arrives by swinging through the trees and tells Luffy to tell Law where he and the Heart Pirates are since he can’t leave the forest. Carrot tells Luffy that although Bepo is a native of this island, he is still a pirate and thus remains under Master Nekomamushi’s care. In Kurau City, the Straw Hats escaped the flood on the roof of a building, though a terrified Usopp climbed up to a high tower. Usopp expresses his dismay at the Eruption Rain (as a shark swims by, causing him to panic further), and when he looks around, he sees Luffy riding a horse with Wanda and Carrot. However, the carrot bites Luffy and Usopp thinks they are eating him. Luffy tries to get Carrot off him and they pass by some crucifixes in Kurau City. Wanda and Carrot are emotional as they remember Jack torturing the mink dog to get information about someone’s whereabouts, but the mink refused to tell him. Luffy asks about Jack again, and Wanda reveals that she read his obituary in the newspaper a few days ago. He attacked four naval ships carrying Donquixote Doflamingo and managed to sink two of them, but was eventually brought down. However, his death has not been confirmed and Wanda believes that he is still alive, saying that she will never forgive him.
When the floodwaters finally recede, Wanda decides to take a shortcut as Wany picks up speed. As Luffy expresses excitement about exploring Zo, Law suddenly teleports himself and the Straw Hats right in front of Wany. Usopp attempts to use Zoro’s power to threaten the minks into handing over Luffy, but a mildly annoyed Wanda states that they mean no harm and are already in their place, in the Right Belly Fortress. Wanda tells the two guards at the entrance that the Straw Hat Pirates have arrived, surprising them. Inside the Right Belly Fortress, Nami is sleeping on top of a large mink sheep named Yomo, and Chopper approaches her to tell her that their crew members are here. Yomo accidentally causes Nami to fall off of him while standing up, but Nami is excited to be reunited. Meanwhile, the Straw Hats and Law enter the Right Belly Fortress and are met with an unexpectedly warm welcome by the Minks. Zoro confides in Wanda that they thought the Norse were hostile to foreigners, but Wanda replies that they thought of humans as hairless versions of themselves and judged not by appearance but by character. Nami and Chopper then show up, but are stopped by some loving minks. The Straw Hats have an emotional reunion as Chopper happily hugs Usopp, but when Luffy mentions Sanji in his greeting, Nami’s expression changes as she hugs him. In tears, she begins to reveal something that happened to Sanji.
