One Piece Episode 718

Summary:

When Monkey D. Luffy watches Bellamy bounce down the hall in the royal palace with Spring Hopper while he’s bleeding, he begs him to stop before he kills himself, prompting Bellamy to scold him for saying it all the time. As Luffy points out how his body has reached its limit, Bellamy punches him in the face with his Busoshoku Haki coated fist, knocking Luffy back before continuing to bounce around the room, declaring that he will decide where he dies. Bellamy reminds Luffy that he intends to become the Pirate King, leaning against the ceiling and stating that Luffy shouldn’t let these situations hold him back before crashing into him and punching him in the torso, causing Luffy to cough up blood.

Meanwhile, on Flower Hill, Kyros stares down at Pico before dropping to his knee, prompting Rebecca to express concern. Kyros notes that it was obvious from the start that the fight will never end as long as there is no other opponent left, before telling Rebecca to stand down as she must return this land back to the hands of Rik Dold III. Hearing this, Pica asks him and Rebecca what Rik is to them, before reminding Rebecca that she was cursed and Kyros that he lost his leg and became a toy because of him. However, Rebecca counters with the fact that the Donquixote pirates set him up as Kyros states that he owes Riku a lot for taking him in as a small boy, before stating that the people of Dressrosa were happy while the peaceful Riku family ruled, even if they weren’t as prosperous . Kyros claims that Riku taught them to simply live like happiness, and tells Pico that the whole country wants to kick him to the throne and the Donquixote pirates.

Pica merely states that she understands before disappearing, causing Nico Robin to wonder what’s going on. As the ground rumbles, Pica uses the Charleston, causing another spike to emerge from the hillside while a shocked Bartolomeo wonders what just happened. Robin realizes that Pica has just entered the third level as more spikes appear, prompting Roronoa Zoro to curse Pica while demanding to know if he wants to fight or not, before promising to defeat him once Pica enters within his reach. However, seeing Pica attack several Donquijot family henchmen and an unconscious Hajrudin, Zoro realizes that he is attacking the wounded as Sai tells Baby 5 to be careful. When Baby 5 tries to grab his arm, Sai scolds her for getting too close, prompting Baby 5 to tell him not to be so shy as they will be husband and wife. Appearing behind Baby 5, Pica states that she betrayed them before using Ishiusa on her, prompting Sai to push her out of the way before being hit by the two halves of the spiked sphere.

As Baby 5 and Chinjao call out to him, Sai manages to push the two halves of the orb apart, coating most of his body in Busoshoku Haki, prompting Chinjao to offer to help him get out. However, a panicked Sai tells him to be careful as Pica uses Charleston on everyone, along with Idea. Sai manages to avoid the stone spikes and lands on the ground before cursing Pico as Zoro runs towards them. Zoro unsheathes one of his swords and demands to know how Pica could attack the wounded, only for Pica to attack him with a Biteston, which he counters with Baki. With one half of his stone face rising into the air, Pico asks Zoro if he knows who is on the King’s Platform, prompting Zoro to cut him in half once more, declaring that the King of Dressrosa is there. Pica stands behind Zoro and reminds him that Riku is a former king, only to be cut in half once again as Zoro wanted to know what he was up to. Pica makes another face and says that it’s unfair that Donquijote Doflamingo should only be blamed for Dressrosa’s invasion, even though things like this happen all the time.

Pica drives Zoro back with more spikes, noting that the samurai and Usopp are on the plateau along with former Dressrosa officials, and that the entire country is seeking Riku’s recovery. When Zoro asks him why it matters, Pica states that it makes him angry because Doflamingo is the only king, before suddenly falling silent. After a few seconds, the ground rumbles again as the giant stone statue of Pico begins to shake. While the other warriors wonder what is going on, the statue detaches itself from the mountain and restores its missing parts as the citizens below flee in terror. Now in control of the statue, Pica declares that Dressrosa is Donquixote’s land before walking forward. As Usopp wonders what he is up to, Zoro runs towards Pica and cuts through several stone barriers, wondering if Pica is planning to kill Rika.

As the terrified citizens try to outrun him, Pica takes a step forward, leveling the ground below him and creating a shockwave that blows away nearby buildings and marines. As the marines fire at Pica to no avail before being sent flying another step, Zoro continues to run towards Pica, noting that Pica has driven him too far to catch up. noting that he had to do something soon, as Pico would only need one blow to level the platform and kill Usopp and Riku in an instant. Several henchmen fire at Zoro in an attempt to stop him from interfering with Pica, but Zoro simply defeats them before moving on. Seeing the spikes destroyed below her, Robin realizes that Zoro is on the move, while Kyros comments that there is no way to stop Pico’s giant body.

As he runs, Zoro begins to think of plans to take down Pica. His first plan is a long distance slash, but Zoro notes that it would travel too far and therefore be too weak. His second plan is to jump to the top of Pico, but Zoro quickly realizes that it would be impossible to jump that high. His third plan is to warn Usopp and the others, but Zoro notes that they wouldn’t be able to hear him from this distance. His fourth plan is to call Usopp to Den Den Mushi and tell him to run, but Zoro discovers that he doesn’t have him when he reaches into his jacket. As Pica continues to move towards the plateau, Zoro notices that there isn’t enough time for Usopp and the others to escape anyway, as Pica’s steps knock down several cheering minions. Baby 5 notices that Pica is planning to kill Riku, prompting Sai to admit that he doesn’t like it, though it’s none of his business, as Orlumbus wonders what they should do.

As Bartolomeo challenges Pico to fight him instead of attacking Usopp, Usopp and the samurai scream in terror as Elizabello II. he notes that he is glad he saved his King Punch as Zoro ordered him to. When Elizabello promises to use it to save his friend Riku, Zoro tells him to wait before reminding those present that it is useless to just destroy Pico’s stone body and that they must defeat his real body. Elizabello demands that they know what they should do instead when Pica reaches the platform, prompting Orlumbus to remark that they don’t have time. However, as Pica cracks her knuckles, Zoro looks at Orlumbo and smiles before tying his scarf and asking Elizabello to give him two minutes. As Pica demands to know if Riku is on the plateau, Zoro states that his fifth plan flies into the sky and cuts Pica open.
