One Piece Episode 595

Summary:

Zoro, Sanji and Brook try to find the samurai and remember what happened to them. They were knocked out by the Yeti Cool Brothers, who used a gas that made people drunk. The Yeti Cool Brothers then tried to make them fall into a pit of spikes, but Zoro cut off the spikes before passing out. Caesar’s hazmat subordinates attack them, but fail thanks to Sanji. They find the samurai’s head and feet frozen and unfreeze him. He then explains that he couldn’t swim because of his magic and said it felt like his torso was underwater. He sees Smiley far away.

Meanwhile, Caesar Clown explains that Smiley is the chemical experiment that caused the explosion at Punk Hazard.

Law and Chopper head to the lab and use Law’s room powers to move faster. They then see the G-5 Marines trying to break into the lab and Luffy, Franky, and Nico Robin arriving out of nowhere, surprising the Marines and Caesar’s underlings.

Sanji’s group recovers from the fall and the effects of the KYP gas. Sanji wonders if the samurai is alright. Zoro objects that Sanji wanted to take a shortcut, but the cook replies that they all agreed to go. Brook remembers the shadows he saw before they passed out. Zoro argues that no one was there, while Sanji disagrees. There is a flashback to an hour ago when the group finds clues. Brook calls Zoro and Sanji to look at the giant footprints. They think they might belong to the legendary yeti. Zoro and Sanji tell him not to be ridiculous. Brook is excited to say that here lies the dream of a human as the three of them imagine what the yeti looks like. They follow the footsteps to the edge of the cliff, turn to see two large shadows and hear the sound of guns being drawn. Yeti Cool Brothers shoot them with KYP bullets. Rock explains that the gas can send even the heaviest drinker into a complete daze. He also tells them about Section F-16, the home of the Icicle Pincushion. They blast off the tip of the cliff with their rifles and send the drunken pirates down with it. Zoro, in his last moments of consciousness, is able to cut through the platform containing the icicles, saving himself and the others.

In the F-16 area, the collection team discovers three unconscious bodies. Sanji grabs one of the soldiers by the leg and surprises him. He surprises the soldiers by completely defeating the entire group. He realizes that he has to be careful because Nami’s body is much more delicate than his. He then hits Zoro and Brook on the head to wake them up. Sanji asks Brook if he thinks the samurai is around. Brook says he remembers seeing a torso around here. The crew steps on an unconscious body in the snow; first Sanji, then Brook, then Zoro notice the body and realize it’s a samurai. It’s completely frozen. Sanji stomps on the samurai’s head and breaks the ice. The samurai gasps for air. He tells them that he suddenly became paralyzed. He says he’s not cold, but Sanji betrayed him. He explains that his ability prevents him from swimming and right now it feels like his torso is underwater. Zoro and Brook state that the torso fell into the salt lake. Zoro concludes that if he can still feel it, then the sharks haven’t eaten the torso yet. Sanji realizes that they don’t have much time and need to restore the samurai’s torso. The samurai is surprised at this kind of kindness from the pirates. Sanji tells him that it’s strictly beyond responsibility and once their body issues are resolved, he’ll fight and beat the samurai to a pulp. The samurai then thanks Sanji. Sanji comments that he’s finally showing some gratitude and maybe everyone should freeze sometime.

He then sees a group in the distance. It’s a centaur patrol unit. They are running away from a monster that has appeared by the lake. Zoro asks what he’s talking about. The centaurs then notice the pirates, upset that they lost, but keep moving. Zoro then looks towards the lake and doesn’t seem to remember the huge mountain that is currently there.

The scene changes to inside the lab. Caesar Clown talks about Slime being the same thing that caused the massive explosion four years ago. Everyone thinks that Caesar purified the poisonous gas, but Caesar reveals that he simply condensed it and, not wanting to waste it, pressed it into the Slime. He continues that just because people forget a tragedy doesn’t mean it’s gone. In fact, it was sitting in the palm of Caesar’s hand the entire time.

Outside the front of the lab, G-5 marines steal a ship. Tashigi tries to hold off some enemies, but accidentally turns into smoke and can’t control it. Smoker tells her to get out of the way and asks if there is an open door preventing their escape. The soldier replies that the enemy is in the lab and the door won’t move. This irritates the Smoker because everything would be easier if he was in his own body.

Beyond the lab, Law and Chopper slip into one of Law’s rooms. Law explains where they are and where Caesar and Monet are. He tells Chopper to investigate the drugs while he works on a way to get Caesar and Monet out of the building. Chopper questions why Law couldn’t just capture them if they trust Law so much, making it easier for him to infiltrate. Law tells Chopper that he has a certain problem that prevents him from capturing them so easily. The Straw Hats need to catch Caesar as quickly as possible and Law will take care of the rest. Law then hears a scream. Tashigi looks up to see something flying towards them and thinks it’s a huge bomb. It turns out to be Luffy, Robin and Franky. Luffy and Franky come across the bow of a destroyed naval ship. Robin dodges the impact with Wing. Robin lands delicately as Franky punches his way out of the wreck. Luffy then yells at “The Master” to come out so they can beat him up and kidnap him. Franky comments on what a good shortcut they took, while Robin reminds them to be secretive. Law is irritated by Luffy’s conspicuous entrance, while Smoker and the rest of the G-5 are surprised to see him.
