Summary:
Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, and Usopp arrive on the island and head to their favorite spots in East Blue. Nami then arrives and meets the Orenami fan club. The Amigo Pirates finally arrive and Luffy gets into a fight with Corte, but then Captain Largo appears and attacks Luffy.
Nami rides Shiro Mokuba I to the cave where the members of the Orenami fan club introduce themselves. When they show Nami the inside of the island, they flirt with her. The rest of the crew check out different parts of the city that resemble their hometowns. Luffy is riding a windmill when an old man tells him that he should know them since he is from Foosha Village. Luffy replies that there is, but they don’t have that big. Zoro went to a training hall identical to that of Shimotsuki Village. He sees the mannequins and remembers the past when Kuina trained and fought with him when they were younger. Then the teacher will perform with his students. Seeing Zoro, the teacher tells his students to fight him, thinking that Zoro wants to fight them. But the man stops them and says that he is “Pirate Hunter” Zoro-san. The students (and the teacher) want his autographs. Yoko, who was spying on them, gets angry. Going to Usopp, there is a flashback of Kaya talking about a big goldfish at the South Pole when he was 5 years old. He told her he was on a huge goldfish poop that he thought was solid ground. After the flashback ends, he is amazed at the mansion… and shocked at how thin it is. The man told him that Luigia lived in such a mansion. Usopp says it wasn’t. Then the door opens and Usopp stares at a girl sitting in a chair. At first he thinks she is Kaya, but realizes he was wrong when he sees an old lady with purple hair.
Then we see “The Baratie” where Sanji and the cook are. As the cook prepares the meal, he asks if Sanji is a member of the Straw Hats and learns that Sanji was a cook on the original Baratie. The chef tells Sanji that he loved Zeff’s food and tried to steal ideas when it opened. After the two go downstairs to the dining room, Sanji is given food that looks (and to his amazement tastes) like food from Zeff. This triggers a flashback where Sanji tries to learn how to cook by watching Zeff prepare food. When Sanji tastes it, he gets excited while Zeff looks back at him and smiles. Sanji then runs out crying because he knows how Zeff made the food. Back in the present, Sanji tells the cook that his food tastes even better than Zeff’s, which makes the cook cry with joy. Yoko spies on them, still angry that the humans are enjoying the pirates’ presence. Usopp is shocked at the small size of the old lady. She seems upset with him and then asks Usopp if he’s from Syrup Village, to which he says yes. He also knows that he is the son of Yasop. Usopp then asks if she really lived in a mansion there. The old lady then chokes Usopp to the ground and tells him that it is everyone’s dream to live there. She also wanted to live there when she was little, and she made it happen when she came to Little East Blue. Yoko also spies on them and is still upset. They return with Nami and the kids show her a nude statue of her (based on her reward poster). Since she is naked, it was decided by consensus. Then Nami hits them on the head.
Amigo Pirates are coming!
Yoko with a tired boss is angry with the crew. Yoko is then depressed and Boss tickles her. Yoko then laughs and tells him to stop. They return to the submarine, the Amigo Pirates rise to the surface with their submarine and regroup. Corto and his buddies go to the submarine and tell them to capture Boss as he has moved away from Shiki’s hideout. Corto’s brother Largo is sleeping or having a siesta. Corto wants to beat him up, but one of his friends tells him not to punch him or his friends will die. Then they continue without him. We return to Sunny Go and Franky has finished building the bug cage for Boss. Nico Robin, Chopper and Brook tell Franky that he is good at building. Chopper notes that they are ready for the Boss. When we get back to town, there’s a feast. The old man notes that it’s a welcome party for the crew. Afterwards, the crew eat meat and the others drink sake. Yoko then goes into the cave as Nami comes out. Nami told them that they were almost there but they were making her walk for hours. Then they told her they wanted to show her the full extent of the island. Yoko then stops by Nami and asks her about being a pirate. He tells her that women like pirates are crazy. Then we flashback to when Luffy first met Nami and said he wanted her to join the crew, but Nami refuses. Then they told Yoko that she can’t say that to Nami-sama. Then she bites him on the head. She was running and Nami told her to stop. Then they told Nami that her father was killed by pirates. As I return to the festival, there is a sudden burst of chain rifle shots that destroy most of the buildings.
The Amigo Pirates show up with guns and tell the citizens they want Boss. Yoko then comes out to see what’s going on. The cook then sees a piece of wood with Baratie written on it break in front of him as he drops the pan. Depressed, he goes to see Cort, but was easily defeated. Sanji helps the cook and the old man and says that he represents the island habitats. Corto then asks where the bug is. The old man replies that you can’t have it and says that you can have everything on the island. Corto replies that he wants everything; money, food and also a bug. Luffy came and said he couldn’t take another bite. Corto then asks him who he is and what he is doing. Luffy then turns to Corto and asks him to go home. Corto asks why, and because Boss doesn’t want to join the pirate crew. Corto gets angry and says that he doesn’t want the bug to join them, but to capture it. Corto then fires cannonballs at Luffy, but they are easily deflected. Corto is surprised that he is a devil fruit user. Luffy then uses Gomu Gomu No Whip to attack Cort. Luffy calls Zoro and Sanji to help him fight the others. Luffy tells Cort that he will fight him tomorrow. A net then appeared out of nowhere and caught Luffy. Because of the great danger, the net had spikes in it. It was revealed to be Largo who ate an unknown Devil Fruit.
