Summary:
After Luffy punches Charlos, the guards begin attacking the Straw Hats and most of the observers, except for Charlos’ family, Kid, and Law’s crew, evacuate. The Straw Hats fight the guards while Robin, Brook, and Usopp arrive to help, with Usopp accidentally knocking Rosward unconscious when he falls through the roof, and tries to save Camie. The Marines are alerted that Luffy is attacking Charlos and surround the Auction House. Enraged, Shalria attempts to kill Camie, but is knocked down by a sudden burst of Haki from Rayleigh, who emerges from behind the scenes and reveals himself to Luffy.
Luffy apologizes, knowing that his actions would bring the Admiral and the warship down from the Sabaody Archipelago Marine HQ. Zoro is disappointed that he was denied the chance to cut Saint Charlos. Chopper says he’ll take care of Hatchan’s injuries and asks Franky to look for the key to free Camie. Saint Rosward rages and shoots Luffy. The audience panics and evacuates the building, except for the Kid Pirates, Heart Pirates, and Sky Dragons. Sanji attacks Rosward and kicks the weapon out of his hands. The Heart Pirates and Kid Pirates watch the fight that ensues in the emptied auction booths.
Usopp is on his way to the Human Auction House and realizes that he is one of the latecomers. He rushes at the rider, but falls as a result. Robin saves him and rushes forward with Brook.
During the fight, Zoro cuts open the tank holding Camie captive, allowing communication. Eustass Kid agrees that the rumors are true and that Luffy is a fool.
Robin noticed that there seemed to be a commotion as the crowd ran towards the exit. Brook tells the rider to crash in while Usopp panics and says he’s not ready. Robin and Brook jump off their ride and are immediately on the attack. Usopp is standing on the roof, not daring to jump and being pushed by a flying fish. He crashes into Rosward, knocking him unconscious and breaking his glasses. Nami tells Usopp about the impending arrival of the warship and the admiral. However, Law says the Marines surrounded the house before the auction began. He wonders who the sailors are targeting since they couldn’t have known that the Sky Dragons would be defeated in advance. Robin identifies him and informs Luffy that Law is a pirate. He also introduces Kid to the crew.
Saint Shalria points her gun at Camie, who wants to kill the mermaid the Straw Hats want to save. The crew watches in horror as they fail to stop her in time, but before Shalria can pull the trigger, she passes out and falls off the ladder. Rayleigh and the giant break through the stage and talk about the state of the hall. Rayleigh also reveals her purpose for being there, which is to steal money. Keepers are concerned that the “auctioned items” have escaped from their cages and have even gotten rid of their collars. Hatchan calls out to Rayleigh. Observing the surroundings, Rayleigh deduces the events that have transpired and uses her power to knock out the remaining guards in the room, shocking all the pirates. Rayleigh comments that the Straw Hat is really fitting for a fearless man like Luffy and tells him that he always wanted to meet him.
