One Piece Episode 341

Summary:

After meeting Hogback, Nami is attacked by an invisible man in the shower, but Usopp and Chopper manage to fight it off. The rest of the Straw Hats set foot on the island and encountered more zombies. Elsewhere, Hogback meets with Absalom, the invisible man who attacked Nami, and a spirit called Perona to discuss what to do with the Straw Hats. Back at the mansion, Nami, Usopp, and Chopper find themselves surrounded and trapped by Surprise Zombies: zombies that attack from paintings, dissection heads, and even carpets on the floor.

After dinner with Dr. Hogback, Nami decides to take a bath with Usopp and Chopper guarding the bathroom door. Chopper says he wants to look into Hogback’s lab while Usopp complains to Nami that she shouldn’t take a bath if she’s scared, to which she replies that they’ll leave the mansion when night falls. Both boys complain that they won’t move for now and that they will wait for Luffy and the others. Nami then says that there are abnormal people in the mansion as well, which scares the two. He states that he also suspects that Dr. Hogback lied when he said he didn’t have a relationship with zombies. She heard a growl and a voice, she thought it was Usopp or Chopper. Suddenly, invisible hands grab her by the arms and pin her to the wall. The invisible man continues to growl at Nami, declaring that she will be his bride. Usopp and Chopper burst through the door, panicking when Nami told them there was someone else in the bathroom with them. However, Usopp ends up seeing Nami completely naked and perversely thanks her for “letting” him see her naked, confusing Chopper. With quick thinking, she kicks her unknown assailant in the groin, freeing herself from the restraints. Chopper uses his sense of smell to check if he’s still there while Usopp attacks the invisible man even as he escapes. Frightened and briefly traumatized by the attack, Nami wraps a towel around her naked body to cover herself. Usopp asks Nami if she is okay, to which she replies that the invisible man knows their plan.

Meanwhile, the Thousand Sunny is immobilized after being stuck in a web. Zoro suspects that everything that happened after Nami, Usopp, and Chopper disappeared is a trap, but Luffy insists on exploring the island while searching for Nami, Usopp, and Chopper, prompting Zoro to join them. On their way to the forest, they ran into Cerberus, who they scared when they reacted differently than others would. Luffy tries to tame it, but all three heads bite him, so he punches them, taming it. The crew continues to search for the trio. In the forest, he encounters two strange creatures: a talking tree and a unicorn. Franky and Luffy run after them and eventually catch them, so Luffy asks the two to join their crew, which Zoro and Sanji object to.

Outside the mansion, Hogback and the invisible man Absalom talk to Absalom and say that he will make Nami his bride, but Hogback refuses to hand her over for her reward. Then a ghost came and said that all the crew had bounties on their heads. Hogback tells Absalom that he must go all out to capture Luffy for his 300,000,000 Beli reward.

Inside, Usopp is arguing with Nami in the hallway about the invisible man in the bathroom. Usopp continues to claim that the zombies and other abnormal phenomena that occurred were not real, with the exception of Brook due to his Devil Fruit. He asks for Chopper’s support by saying that there is no other way to raise the dead besides Brook’s power. Chopper says that medically it may have a natural explanation, but since Hogback was celebrating his research, Chopper believes there may be miracles on the island. Nami tries to tell Chopper that he trusts Hogback too much, but Chopper defends him and asks for two proofs that Hogback has a connection to the zombies. Nami claims it’s obvious, even calling Hogback the “Zombie King”. Usopp stopped the two from arguing any further and Chopper went ahead to talk to Hogback to clear things up, with Usopp and Nami following.

They come to the dining room, but it’s dark and no one was there. Suddenly a light came on and they saw Hildon hanging upside down. He says that Dr. Hogback and Cindry had already gone to sleep, but when Usopp saw him, he was angry that he had left them in the middle of the graveyard. Hildon apologized and tried to “lead” them back to their rooms, but Nami and Usopp refused to believe his excuses, saying that they planned to leave; Chopper is reluctant and says he wants to talk to Hogback one more time. Then they heard a voice belonging to the woman inside the portrait, which shocked all three pirates. The woman came out of the portrait, shocking them even more, and grabbed Chopper. The other zombies attack them, with one prep zombie saying he is the captain of the zombies there. The bearskin rug attacks Usopp, thinking that Usopp was the one who stabbed him, and throws him, leaving him hanging from the chandelier. Stunned, Usopp threw a candle at the zombie and lit it. The other zombies try to attack him, but Usopp retaliates by throwing all the candles at them, giving the three a chance to escape. However, the door is locked, trapping them inside the mansion as the zombies begin to recover and seek revenge.
