One Piece Episode 304

Summary:

The battle between Lucci and Luffy rages on. As Luffy’s anger grows, he activates Gear 3 in a battle against Lucca.

We cut to the point where Buster Call shoots the Tower of Justice. Sogeking is shown to have fallen from the affected section into the base of the tower where Sanji and Zoro were, avoiding falling with the rest of the section into the abyss. Meanwhile, on the Bridge of Woes, Franky and Nico Robin (just freed from their bonds) prepare to fight their way past Spandam and the marines to reach the escape ship. At the same moment, Luffy is still fighting Rob Lucci in the first column. Lucci just used the Rankyaku to start flooding the pillar and underground tunnel with seawater, meaning that anyone who tries to catch up with them will drown, enraging Luffy.

Robin sees the Buster Call coming and falls to his knees in shock as Spandam tries to calm the Marines as they try to flee from his wrath. Buster Call begins his attack on the main island of Enies Lobby. Their main goal is to stop Luffy and company, and to do that they destroy Enies Lobby. Franky is stunned by this “total insanity”, but turns to see Robin holding on, frozen in fear. She recalls how the Buster Call was just as merciless when it leveled her home in Ohara, and now she is witnessing its terrifying power for the second time.

Sanji, Zoro, Sogeking, Kokoro, Nami, Chimney and Gonbe walk through the tunnel in two groups. In the back, Sanji and Zoro carry the injured and hanged Sogeking. Up ahead, Chimney tells Kokoro and Nami how Luffy earlier smashed through a heavy steel door using a new technique called Gear 3. While the attack was effective, it apparently caused Luffy to shrink into a small form for a time. The chimney then hears something ahead; it is a flood of sea water.

Meanwhile, the first column floods itself, forcing Luffy and Lucci to fight higher up the column and above the water’s surface. Lucci continues to taunt Luffy about the fate of his crew and friends. But Luffy puts his trust in them. As both groups face the rush of water, Luffy and Lucci continue to fight and Lucci’s Rokushiki mastery forces Luffy to win his trump card. He activates Gear 3 and reveals his Bone Balloon technique. Biting down on his thumb, he inflated the bones on his right arm and then transferred the air to his left arm, giving it the size (and strength) of a giant, which he unleashes on Lucci: Gomu Gomu no Gigant Pistol, an attack strong enough to overpower Lucci’s Tekkai, he made a huge hole in the first column and sent Lucci flying.
