One Piece Episode 175

Summary:

Priest Ohm appears and tries to kill Chopper. The South Bird takes Zoro on a trip through the sky. Luffy beats Nola from the inside, leading to Nola chasing Nami and Aisa into the forest. Wyper begins the ascent of Giant Jack along with Gan Fall, Zoro, and Nola.

Chopper reached higher on Giant Jack. As he walked through the ruins, he sensed a presence and found her to be a saint. Ohm told Chopper not to worry because Holy won’t bite him unless he has a reason to because the dog is well trained by him. Ohm recognized Chopper as the one who defeated Gedatsu. Chopper tried to back away only to step over the person. He thought that Holy must have bitten the person, but Ohm told Chopper that he was the one who defeated the individual. Ohm begins to mourn the person he killed, saying that he is unable to understand why people fight even when they are so weak, and that death is the only way for them to be truly saved. Ohm told Chopper that by being present, the fight was inevitable and that he would “save” Chopper.

Raki is seen traveling through the Milky Way, wondering why everyone looked like they had been burned to a crisp, as if they had been struck by lightning. She found Kamakiri, who told her to find Wyper and inform him that Enel was not in God’s Sanctuary and that no one could defeat Enel. Kamakiri told Rakim that Enel is what is known as lightning and is therefore invincible. Raki left to find Wyper and commented on her way the Kamakiri spirit was broken and asked herself how Enel ended up with Goro Goro no Mi.

Zoro reached what looked like a sacrificial altar and realized it was a place he had seen before. The giant South Bird is still with him and he blamed the bird for wanting free food. He tossed the bag aside and the bird when he saw that the bag had food in it and drooled. The bird picked up the bag and Zoro hung onto the straps yelling at the bird that there was no food in the bag. Luffy hit a dead end thinking it was a trick door. He thought that breaking through would get us out and then attacked him with a Gomu Gomu no Bazooka. Nothing happened though – just a crash that made Luffy fall even further. Chopper is seen running from Ohm in fear and has taken cover. He commented that Ohm was a swordsman and if he kept his distance he could escape and find the others. However, Ohm realized how far Chopper had run and stated that Chopper has an earthly desire that is an attachment to life. With that, Ohm defeated Chopper and reported a 0% survival rate in the Ordeal of Iron.

Aisa tells the others that another voice has disappeared and she goes to find Raki. Nami went after her to bring her back when they saw a giant python. Luffy, angered by the “cave”, began to attack her, causing the giant python to be distressed and take action. Nami and Aisa fled into the forest aboard the bellows to escape the giant python. As she gets further into the forest, Nami realizes how far they both ran. Zoro is seen telling South Bird to let him down or else he will clip his wings. At that moment, Nola pounced on them. South Bird then thought the snake was after Zoro because the snake must have seen Zoro as food. The bird then released Zoro and the backpack. Wyper has reached Giant Jack and is going after Enel.

Ohm stopped Wyper and asked him who allowed him to climb the giant straw. Gan Fall then appeared and told Wyper that he had just returned from God’s Sanctuary and the place was completely destroyed. Just then Zoro fell from the sky and saw that he was not alone. He recognized the ruins and asked Ohm to hand over the gold to him. Luffy is still angry that he didn’t find a way out of the “cave” and keeps crashing into it, causing Nola great suffering. Ohm told the men in the ruins that in order to get what they were looking for, they must first survive the Ordeal of Iron.
