One Piece Episode 141

Summary:

The episode opens in the ruins of the Marine where Ian is sleeping in his cell when Akibi falls and Pukau tells him that they need to get the things they’re holding to “them”. Ian wakes up to find someone coming to bring them back to Ruluka. Surprised, Ian suddenly tells them to wait and cries in front of Akibi to let him out. Gullible enough Akibi agreed and Ian thanked him followed by an evil laugh. Meanwhile, Luffy shot up into the sky again and Rapanui pushed Henzo, who was still not convinced that he was the real Henzo, despite being told by the others that it was a mistake and that Henzo would never be Wetton’s dog. Rapanui reminded them of Wetton’s burning of their village and asked Henz if he had forgotten those memories in just 50 years. Usopp tried to convince him by telling him that he didn’t know what happened to the 50 years and how Henzo suffered to save them. He told them that he had endured the many backstabs he had experienced, but was still examining them on the Rainbow Mist.

Henzo put it aside and told Rapanui to punch him and forget all pride as he lived under Wetton’s command. Rapanui couldn’t punch him and instead broke down in tears wondering how 50 years could pass so suddenly, Usopp told them they were comrades when it came to reuniting the Pumpkin Pirates. As they were about to shake hands, Luffy suddenly appeared from a portal, grabbed Rapanui and walked inside another portal. Nico Robin told them that they would be fine since everything in the Rainbow Mist was on loop, but he quickly disagreed as it was taking too long. Henzo told them that they should find them and the scene shifted to another dimension where Luffy and Rapanui went. On the other side, the Sea King continues to threaten Nami and Sanji told Wetton that they should help her before they eat her, but Wetton didn’t care. Lake realized that they couldn’t even get to the Monkey Concert because of the Sea King. Flip told her that she should use a safety device that Henzo invented, which is a lifeline, but at that point she was too scared because she was about to be eaten. A Marine major struck it with a coin and then disappeared. Nami tied the end of the line to her Clima tact and tossed the cross section to Chopper and walked into the Mist telling him to pull the line if signaled. Wetton said to let her go and the guards shouted that she was going to change now. He changed into the Flame Suit in about a second. The guards have braced themselves for the suit’s demands, but the weakness is evident due to the jolts of raising the suit’s flamethrower. On the other side, Luffy and Rapanui are running not knowing where to go and Rapanui was sitting because Luffy was just running because of his instinct. He said he wasn’t done with his reunion with Henz. He was afraid he might be like his Pop when he grew up, he was a naval officer and had left him years ago to find out his father had died. Luffy still wanted to go back, so he started walking, telling Rapanui that they wouldn’t find the others without moving. They couldn’t find them, so Henzo thought they might come to the end of the Mist. Robin was a little surprised as the shipwreck she estimated to be about 200 years old and the wreckage of the rocket floating around which she said she hadn’t seen recently made her conclude that Rainbow Mist’s time was actually warped. Nami arrived with some treasures on her rowboat and asked where Luffy was. Usopp and Zoro told her they left and Nami was surprised. Ian came out with Akibi as a hostage, but Nami didn’t want to save him because she didn’t know who he was. This led to Isoka threatening her with a knife and Ian getting into a rowboat with the two of them. Isoka angered Ian, but Akibi was kicked into the water. Robin held Ian tight with her Devil Fruit powers and Isoka went to save Akibi, but Robin was weakened by Kairouseki. Ian runs away and Usopp can’t focus on shooting him. Meanwhile, Chopper and Sanji deal with the burn from Wetton and force Chopper to eat the Rumble Ball, but they still fail because of Lake. Sanji got caught in the net and burned himself as well. Seeing the signal, they saw the rowboat return as Sanji was about to kick Wetton when Lake electrocuted him. Ian saw Ruluka Island and was impressed, but mistook Lake for Wetton. Ian was surprised again to find that Wetton had already entered the third generation and Wetton was secretly whispering what was in the Mist. In the Mist, Nami appreciates the treasures, but considers them useless if they can’t get out. Henzo knew he would come back because Wetton wanted to get all the treasures of the Monkey Concert. Usopp told Nami that she was a navigator so she should do something. Rapanui and Luffy are already tired from walking when Rapanui fell and remembered how hard they worked to get out of the Mist. Ironically, Rapanui wanted to return to Ruluka, even though he told them they would own Ape’s Concert as their paradise.

Rapanui saw a sea ship and someone waving that looked like his father, but the sight changed to a light towards which they ran. On the other side, the Rainbow Tower was toppled and the water that splashed came to Luffy and Rapanui as well. The tower then went straight into the Mist horizontally. The sea within the Mist churned and then Henzo saw the Rainbow tower. Rapanui and Luffy returned to Ruluka and Rapanui concluded that they were invading the Monkey Concert. The entrance to the tower in the Mist opened and guards arrived from the other side of the tower’s tunnel conveyor belt. Wetton told the guards to make all the Monkey Concert treasures laugh evilly, ending the episode.
