Summary:
Ace battles Smoker while the defeated pirates run for their ship. Luffy reunites with his brother Ace and introduces him to his crew. Later, Ace takes down several Baroque Works agents.
Ace begins to fight Smoker while the crew flees to the Going Merry. As they flee, Nami asks Luffy if Ace is really his brother. Luffy confirms and tells them his name. There is a fork in their way and Nami tells everyone to follow her, but Luffy goes to the other side as he watched his brother fight. The Straw Hats arrive at the ship carrying all the supplies, only to notice that Luffy is missing. Luffy is sitting on the barrel he was carrying in the alley, but he doesn’t know where his crew went. Ace greets him from the top of the house in the alley and then descends. They begin an arm wrestle on the barrel that Luffy was sitting on, but after the wrestle, the barrel breaks and the water inside bursts. They both agree that they are equally strong. Ace invites Luffy and his crew to join the Whitebeard Pirates, but Luffy refuses.
On Smoker’s ship, Mr. 11 remains alone, tied to the mast. A few billion get on board and Mr. 11 asks them to untie him. They explain that, like billions, they are candidates for promotion to officer agents. Mr. 11 asks them to untie him again, but they shoot him. The Billions get off the ship and someone informs them that Fire Fist Ace is in town. One of them then comments that if they shoot down Ace, they will surely be promoted to officer.
Luffy and Ace begin searching for Luffy’s crew, but as they go, billions begin to surround them without them noticing. After they are gathered, they all come out. Luffy and Ace don’t care what they say and continue walking, but the billions start to fight. After Luffy sends the leader flying with the Gomu Gomu no Bazooka, one of the billions tells his friends not to worry and they all chase after them again. Luffy notices his ship and stretches out his arms to reach it. He enters the ship and crashes towards Sanji and Chopper. Ace arrives at the ship in his boat, but then they see five billion ships coming towards them. Telling Luffy that he can handle them, Ace gets into his ship and starts propelling it using his flames. He then jumps over the ship and when he lands, he launches Hiken, destroying five ships in a row.
Smoker talks to Tashigi and asks what Nefertari Vivi was doing with the straw hats. Tashigi suggests that maybe she was a hostage to a grand plan, but Smoker doesn’t think so. She thinks it’s unlikely because she got along with the group like she was one of them. He says that something big is going to happen and that he might know where he’s going after Luffy told him that he just wants to defeat Crocodile. Usopp, Luffy, and Chopper in the Going Merry toast to Ace joining the Straw Hats, but Ace tells them he won’t be joining them. He then explains that he is looking for Blackbeard after he killed one of his crew members. He also explains that he is heading to Yuba and Nami tells him that they are going to the same place. Vivi continues to explain the route and then toasts to how much fun they are having together.
