Summary:
Luffy, Chopper and the young girl fight the wind while the shark tries to eat Sunny by spreading its jaws. But with Jinbe at the helm, they overcame the danger. It turns out that the shark is made of iron and is too big for a normal shark. Jinbe notices that the three have fallen into the sea and orders Franky to take the helm. He used the “Rabbit Screw” to overcome the shark’s speed and save the others from the water.
Jinbe struggles against the strong water currents, but after a while he holds them. On the other hand, the shark attacks the Sunny with torpedoes and capsizes the ship. The rest of the crew aboard the ship began to sink with the ship.
When Jinbe and the others resurfaced, the shark tried to attack them but failed as Jinbe told them to take a deep breath to escape to the seabed. On the other hand, the rest of the Straw Hats were saved by a giant robot that attacked the shark.
The scene shifts to the Marine Corps G-14 branch, where Tashigi tells the children to drink the medicine prepared for them to reverse their mutant growth. Mocha thanks Tashigi and says that she feels much smaller, a little more to go back to normal. He wishes to return home and meet the Straw Hats later.
Tashigi called Doll regarding Helmepp’s request to save Koby. When Helmeppo and Hibari ask Prince Grus for help in rescuing Koby from being captured by the Hachinosu pirates, he suggests taking the Seraphim from Egghead since the island was close. Grus reminded them of the dangers they must face and risk to save Koby.
Meanwhile, Luffy, Chopper, Jinbe and the girl (who is no longer a child but an adult) were on the shore of the island where the girl revealed herself to be Jewelry Bonney. He asks Luffy about his appearance and hair on his latest wanted poster, to which he replies goofily. Seeing this, she thought again if he was really the emperor or why Jinbe was with them. When they were hungry, Luffy suggested they look for a restaurant, which Bonney declined, saying there wasn’t one since it was a government island and called Egghead. It’s where Vegapunk lives. Luffy realizes he’s heard the name before and Bonney tells them he has a deal with Vegapunk.
A girl came out of the robot above the surface. Franky thanked her for saving them while she revealed that the Mecha-Shark had some programming issues and she had no intention of saving the pirates. Much to the crew’s surprise, she revealed herself as the world-renowned scientist “Dr. Vegapunk”.
