 Summary:

Usopp reaches the other shore first and tries to warn the black cat pirates with a boldface lie. Not falling for it, they discover Nami’s treasure and claim it as their own. Just as Usopp is about to be hypnotized, Nami herself arrives and saves him. The pair are soon forced to fight for themselves while Luffy and Zoro are still trying to find the right shore. While distracted, Usopp suffers a severe blow to the head, but despite being unable to stand, continues to fight the attacking pirates until Luffy and Zoro finally arrive.
Usopp realizes that he is in trouble as he is the only one standing against the Black Cat Pirates. Jango mistakes Usopp’s lie about having a large number of pirates for the truth, much to the disbelief of the crew.
The Black Cat Pirates find a treasure ship next to theirs. Usopp comments that it’s his treasure and tries to bribe them to leave for him, but Jango and the others just say they’ll take it anyway and won’t leave. As Jango pulls out his ring to hypnotize Usopp, Nami appears and smacks him in the head for trying to give them his treasure while Jango fell asleep (again). With no sign of Luffy, Nami tells Usopp to go fight the pirate while she supports him. As the black cats begin to advance, Usopp and Nami throw several caltrops at the pirates that Usopp has brought.
Back on the other slope, Zoro lays on his back, tired from trying to get through the oil that has slid down. He eventually resorts to using his swords to climb up with them. However, he faces another problem – he doesn’t know which way is north. Meanwhile, Luffy rushes around with no idea which way north is.
Back on the hillside, the caltrops are at work and Usopp pulls out his slingshot to fire at the pirates. After taking a few of them, Nami comments that she thinks she’ll rest now, only to find out that some caltrops are behind them, which Usopp blames her on. As he turns around, he sees Usopp getting hit as the crew finally make it onto the slope.
The crew passes him, Usopp grabs the leg of the man who hit him and claims that he will make sure the next day is as peaceful for the village as the last. When the pirate goes to kill Usopp, Nami finally steps in and knocks him down, only to be knocked down in turn as well. Jango orders the crew to simply ignore the pair as they must get to the village before Kuro’s plan goes awry and Kuro kills them all. Usopp tries to stop the pirates again; they are suddenly knocked down when Zoro and Luffy finally arrive.
