Summary:
400 years of war between the Skypieans and Shandians finally ended with Enel’s defeat and both sides celebrate with the Straw Hats together for days. When everyone is finally asleep after the celebrations, Luffy wakes up Nami with a whisper. He asks her to wake everyone up to help him steal all the gold and run away, which excites her. Her excitement prompts Luffy to tell her to keep it down, but she angrily retorts that he’s the one being loud. This wakes up Usopp, who in turn wakes up Chopper by screaming and punching him in the head, starting a scream that wakes up everyone else except Zoro. As the Skypieans and Shandians alike notice the boisterous nature of the pirates, the Straw Hats devise their plan.
The following morning, the Shandian Chieftain is notified that they have found the Golden Belfry bell. He was hanging from the giant Jack after the battle with Enel, and the chief gathered as many men as he could on the beach to try and lift him up. Hearing this, Robin is happy that the Shandora Poneglyph is finally within reach. The Shandians try to pull the bell tower, but they don’t have enough strength. However, much to their delight, the Skypieans show up to help and the two groups happily work together.
Meanwhile, the Skypieans stand in awe as Usopp shows them a rubber band. He tells one of the Skypieans that 90% of the damage that caused Giant Jack to fall was from the “Usopp Special Rubber Band Missile” and also shows off a sheet of metal that he claims they can’t get anywhere else. Fully convinced, the townsfolk like to swap out Usopp with all sorts of dials. Usopp is now excited to have so many dials, prompting a question from Zoro. He offers to upgrade Zoro’s katana to a “fly sword”, and although the swordsman quickly declines, Usopp is nonetheless inspired to upgrade Nami’s Clima-Tact. Usopp asks Zoro where Luffy and the others are and he tells them that everyone but Robin is still inside. Nola happens to be sleeping next to them and Usopp comments that the snake is a heavy sleeper. Zoro notes that she’s been dancing all night, but says that when she wakes up, it’s dangerous. Usopp replies that Nola looks harmless, to which Zoro counters that he has no idea how bad the snake really is and remembers his experiences. Usopp repeats the line and Zoro reminds him that he didn’t see Nola when she was awake. Usopp repeats the line once more, making Zoro very angry. Usopp laughs and shows him the tone dialer that recorded the line, angering Zoro even more to the point where he yells at Usopp to turn it off.
Meanwhile, Luffy and the others find a lot of treasure. Sanji wonders what Nola ate to have so much treasure in her, and Chopper notes that one of the pieces he finds is like something he saw at the Saruyama Alliance. Elsewhere, the Golden Belfry Bell was finally picked up. Skydwellers marvel at how majestic it looks up close, though one of the pillars appears to have broken off. One of the Shandians points to a poneglyph at its base, though he notes that he is unable to read it. The Chief begins to explain why it is no longer important for them to read the message, but before he can give his reason, Robin interrupts him:
“There is no need for words before the heart of truth. We are recorders of history, existing in harmony with the sound of the great bell.”
The Chief is in utter disbelief and asks Robin where she learned those words. Robin tells him about a stone tablet she came across in the Upper Yard that also mentions the Shandians as ancient guardians of the text. Robin asks if he can actually read the language, and the onlookers fall silent as he approaches the poneglyph. Robin reads about an ancient weapon known as the Poseidon, which scares the locals that such a thing might exist. However, Robin thinks that it would be another ancient weapon named after a god like Pluton, and that she is not interested in such information. As he leaves, Shandian points out that there is another inscription on the side. However, this news greatly astonished Robin:

Robin is shocked that the Pirate King came to Sky Island and also knew how to read Poneglyphs. Gan Fall remembered the name “Roger” and told Robin that he came there twenty years ago. Robin recalls that there are two types of poneglyphs, those that contain information and those that reveal the location of others. Remembering what Roger had said, Robin realized that Roger had already found the poneglyph that the tablet mentioned. He tells the chief that this tablet has already served its purpose, as the poneglyphs are meant to be read in conjunction to fill in a piece of empty history, which Roger inevitably did. Chief Shandia understands that their ancestors’ wishes have already been granted, causing him to collapse because it means his people no longer have to fight. Robin also takes this to mean that she has to follow the instructions of the poneglyphs she’s read so far until the end of the Grand Line laugh-out-loud story. The chief remembers how much the people of the blue sea valued gold, and is willing to give them the broken column of the bell tower, since they cannot give them the bell itself. Robin comments that this will make the crew very happy and the paratroopers start moving the pole. As he does so, Gan Fall comments that Luffy reminds him of Roger and asks Robin if they are related. Robin says his full name is “Monkey D. Luffy” and he is a very interesting person. Gan Fall is shocked to hear that they share the same initial “D”. and says that maybe D. they are so similar. Robin replies that their connection may be another lost piece of ancient history.
Back at the ruins, the Straw Hats are waiting for Robin, ready to escape. With none of the skydwellers apparently present, they agree that now is the best time to escape with all the gold they are carrying, as Nami and Conis are already waiting for the Going Merry. Zoro suggests leaving without her, which leads to Usopp, Luffy, Sanji, and Chopper all insulting him together. This angers the swordsman and a brawl begins between the nakama. During the commotion, Usopp spots Robin approaching. Luffy yells at her that they need to run now because they stole so much gold, and Sanji quickly admonishes him for spoiling it with so many people behind him. Usopp notices a golden pillar wrapped in cloth, but mistakes it for a giant cannon, causing the Straw Hats to run. Robin arrives with the Shandia, who are confused that the Straw Hats see them as a threat. As they try to stop the Straw Hats, Usopp gives a speech about how they risked their lives to come here and they won’t leave empty-handed. Robin laughs and says that pr
