Summary:
The chapter begins with Luffy, Chimney, and Gonbe heading down an underwater passage leading to the Gate of Justice. Chimney comments on how funny Luffy is. As Luffy runs, the shrinking effect of Luffy’s Gear 3 attack begins to wear off and Luffy grows back to his normal size. He calls Nico Robin to wait for him, sending Rob Lucci flying. Further down the tunnel, Spandam tells Lucci that he hears a noise and wonders if it’s his imagination. Lucci suggests that it might be the pirates who broke down the door. Spandam is amazed and says that the door is solid steel and that they couldn’t find the door to begin with. Lucci tells him that she remembers the little girl watching them before, so she probably told them. When Spandam asks Lucca why he didn’t kill her, he smugly replies that he was never ordered to do so. Spandam is upset, telling Lucci that he should decide these things himself. He then asks if that means someone is following them.
In the Tower of Justice, Franky fights Fukurou in the hallway outside the kitchen. Franky comments as Fukurou quickly runs away. Fukurou tells him that there is no reason for him to take Franky’s punches. Franky uses Franky’s Triangle Jacker and Fukurou dodges it. Fukurou then punches Franky, who he blocks. He then grabs Fukurou by the mouth and throws him over his head, sending him crashing to the floor. Franky uses Weapons Left and then notices that his Coke supply is running low. He runs to the door to the kitchen, only to be intercepted by Fukuro. Franky comments on how Fukurou has amazing escape skills. Fukurou tells him that it really pissed him off. Fukurou tells him to strike first.
He then uses the Super Heavy “Shigan” Speed Punch: Jugon. The blow hits Franky square in the face, but he remains standing. Franky tells him that the punch won’t hurt him as he puts on his glove. He then uses the Strong Hammer and hits Fukurou clean in the jaw as he starts using Tekkai. Fukurou tells Franky that his punch was weak, mockingly calling it a “wussy-pussy” and punches him with another Jugon. Franky counters that Fukurou’s punch is “wimpy-limpy”. Franky also calls Fukurou’s punch “awkward-awkward.” Fukurou also calls Franky’s punch “weak-geeky” and “lazy-pansy panties”, causing Franky to wonder why he added the panties when they punch each other repeatedly. Fukurou tells Franky that “panties” are good enough for him. Franky grabs Fukurou’s face as he breaks through the kitchen walls.
They land with Franky on top of Fukura and grab his lower lip. Franky is relieved to find himself in the kitchen, and even more relieved to see a huge refrigerator right next to him. As he looks at the fridge, the wall on the left side starts to break and Chopper and Kumadori break through the wall. Chopper is mad at himself for using the Rumble Ball too soon. Franky thinks that Chopper is a Devil Fruit user who can turn into a gorilla. Fukurou then tries to attack Chopper, but Chopper pulls the refrigerator’s giant door at the last moment, causing Fukurou to crash into the door. Chopper then slams the door and pins Kumadori between the door and the edge of the fridge. Chopper is glad the door has a lock. Fukurou is stunned to see Kumadori trapped in the doorway. Chopper is happy to have Kumadori locked up. Franky then tells Chopper to wait a minute, calling him a gorilla and saying he has to get something from the fridge.
Chopper then becomes aware of Franky and Fukurou’s presence in the room. He then gets mad at Franky for calling him a gorilla, prompting Franky to comment on how slow Chopper is. Chopper tells Franky that he is still mad at him for what he did to Usopp. Franky draws his attention back to the task at hand and saves Robin. Franky tells Chopper to get him three bottles of Coke and give them to him so he can turn on the power. He tells Chopper that he can easily finish off the two CP9 agents and get their keys. Chopper asks how he could be stronger with the coke. Fukurou asks how much longer they are going to argue. He then hits Franky with his ultimate Jugon technique: Fukuroudataki. Franky weakly tried to punch him, but Fukurou hit him again. Realizing that Franky is now on their side, Chopper discovers that he can open and close the fridge fast enough to get the Coke, but without freeing Kumadori. He does so and throws Franky a coke. Franky feels rejuvenated and his hair is shaped like a tomato. He tries to hit the Fukuro Vegetable Punch but is easily knocked down by another Jugon.
Franky throws the bottles that Chopper gave him back at the reindeer, furious that he got the vegetable juice. Frightened, Chopper tells him that he thought Franky was just thirsty. Franky tells him to forget the healthy drinks and gives him a Coke. Chopper throws him more bottles and Franky loads them into his fuel cell, his hair taking on a more wavy shape this time. Then he sits down in a chair, holding a garden hoe, and says that he has finished tilling the soil and that they should all sit down and have tea to give them strength. He then realizes that Chopper gave him tea instead of coke this time and throws the bottles back at him. Chopper stares at Franky and realizes how funny he is. Chopper then gets a twinkle in his eye. Franky yells at him to get rid of what he says is “what would happen if I gave him other drinks”. He tells Chopper that this is his last chance and it’s not what Chopper wants because Franky only takes Coke. Chopper then throws three Coke bottles at him. Fukurou tells them that he doesn’t know what’s going on, but he won’t just let them play. He attacks Franky’s Rankyak, sending him flying and then crashing back down to the ground. Franky then stands up and yells “Suuuuppppper”.
Fukurou tells him that there is no way he can get stronger from coke. Franky tells Fukurou to watch out. Fukurou asks if Franky is going to use one of his “lousy” punches. Franky then attacks him with a Strong Hammer. The punch sends Fukurou flying across the room and through several walls. Chopper is stunned by Franky’s sudden increase in power. The chapter ends with Franky telling Fukurou that just a moment ago his punches were really “crappy-flappy”.
