Summary:
In the land of New Kama, Ivankov says he will take 10 years of Luffy’s life to save him. However, Ivankov states that it definitely won’t save him, but it will raise his chance of survival from 0% to 2-3%. He also says that Luffy needs to have a lot of willpower to save himself and then injects Luffy with “Emporio: Healing Hormones”. So Luffy started screaming and did so for 10 hours.
Mr. 2 Bon Kurei is amazed at what Ivankov has done. Ivankov explains that all he did was drain Luffy’s energy and boosted his immune system to the point where he was able to fight off Magellan’s poison. He also says that hormones and willpower are what one needs to save oneself. However, Mr. 2 looks inside and to his horror Luffy was still screaming. He pleads with Ivankov for Luffy to be released, only to be knocked back.
Ivankov yells at Mr. 2 and says that he has never helped a poor person who relies on others, but he has saved countless countries from poverty. Ivankov claims that he is no “miracle worker”, but that real miracles only come to those with willpower. Ivankov then explains his Devil Fruit ability, Horu Horu no Mi. He says he is an “engineer” of the human body, where his ability allows him to change body temperature, pigmentation, sex, growth, emotional state, etc.; simply the power to reshape the human body from within.
Ivankov then starts talking to Mr. 2 and tells him that he already looks like “Newkama”. Ivankov says that his surroundings really transcended gender, that men were women here and vice versa. He then says that every person here and randomly wandered in using the secret entrances from any level from 1-5. He states that they had their own monitoring room and that they stole newspapers to keep up with the outside world. Ivankov also adds that they enjoyed watching Luffy break into Impel Down, saying it was “top class entertainment”.
Mr. 2 then asks how this place came to be because they have so much space. Ivankov simply replies that there was nothing. But then the man with the Devil Fruit that gave him the “tunneling” ability. He then reveals that he dug up level 5.5 and that it was between level 5 and level 6. To Mr. 2’s surprise, there is a level 6 where Ivankov states that they are just the worst criminals in the world and that they were deemed fit. erased from history.
Ivankov then goes on about Luffy’s attempt that if he had tried his attempt earlier he would have failed because there was a man named “Shiryu of the Rain” who was the head jailer at Impel Down. Ivankov continues and names three other level 6 prisoners: Catarina Devon, the most dangerous prisoner, “Colossal Battleship” Sanjuan Wolf, and “Heavy Drinker”. “Vasco Shot.” Ivankov says Mr. 2’s former boss, a former sea warrior, is also imprisoned there. Seven hours later, everyone from Mr. 2 to Ivankov is still rooting for Luffy. At level 6, Jinbe suggests to Ace that Hancock simply lied to him, but Ace refuses to believe it. Ace says that Luffy always did reckless things and that he always worried him.
Eight hours later, Domino quickly tells Magellan, who was sitting on the toilet at the time, that it was time for Ace’s transfer.
Luffy stops yelling. Ivankov says that the pain shouldn’t stop at any point during the healing process and suggests that Luffy died because the blood got under the door. But then someone from inside the chamber (Luffy) tries to break down the door and instead yells “FOOD!” Luffy is alive, much to everyone’s surprise, especially Ivankov since it was only one day.
