Summary:
The sea kings talk to Shirahoshi. They tell her that they have been waiting for her for a long time. They explain that Noah was created to be pulled by the Sea Kings, which they were told long ago. They explain that once every few hundred years, for some unknown reason, their queen is born in the form of a mermaid. The Ammo Knights in the airlock keep an eye on what’s going on and report back to the people on the island. He sees the Sea Kings protecting Noah from being destroyed by Luffy. The guards speculate that maybe Noah is important to them. Fukaboshi and his brothers also watch and listen, amazed that their sister can talk to Sea Kings. Neptune then declares that a force that has the potential to destroy the world has been awakened.
The Sea Kings gently lower Noah so that the bubble around him soaks into the bubble of the island. One of them advises Shirahoshi to catch Luffy as it is not safe for him to be at the bottom of the sea. Shirahoshi quickly goes to grab him. The sea kings then begin to drag Noah away from the island. While they were traveling, one of them thought that Luffy could hear their voices when they were communicating with Shirahoshi. At first the others doubted it, but then they remembered when another person, Gol D. Roger, had also heard them. In a short shot, Roger asks Silvers Rayleigh if he heard a voice at that very moment. Rayleigh says he didn’t hear anything. Roger then calls out and asks who is talking under the waves. The Sea Kings discuss whether or not Noah could be repaired as they place him next to the Sea Forest, where Camie, Den, and Hatchan freak out beyond belief when they see them. They agree that it can be fixed, but they can’t do it themselves. They leave saying they will return when the promised time comes.
At the Ryugu Palace, the soldiers call the Minister of the Left. It turns out that all of the kidnapped mermaids have been found inside the castle and are perfectly fine, except that they are still a bit dazed from what happened and report that they clearly remember the appearance of their captor. On the other hand, all the treasure stored in the palace is gone, including the national treasure, Tamatebako. The Minister of the Left comments to Neptune that someone was waiting for him to be absent from the palace. Neptune tells him not to bother and to leave whoever stole the treasure alone, saying it’s all right if that’s all they lost. He then tells the minister to inform the people that the mermaids are safe, the Straw Hat Pirates are innocent, and that they made a mistake. In Gyoncorde Plaza, everyone is happy to hear that the Straw Hats have been vindicated for a crime they did not commit.
The lower ranks of the New Fish-Man Pirates try to escape, only to be blocked by Jinbe. The fish-man pirates argued that they followed Hody out of fear, and the former human slaves claim they had nothing to do with starting the civil war. Jinbe replies that no one told them they were headed to death row, but they have to wait for Neptune’s decision and he will shoot down anyone who tries to escape. In the Thousand Sunny, Usopp asks Chopper if he’s okay. He replies that he is fine, but using a Monster Point will leave his body completely drained for two to three hours. He now lies completely still, his head resting in Robin’s lap, much to Sanji’s jealousy. Chopper says he can still heal people and asks if anyone has any injuries. Just then, the princes descend on the square, carrying the unconscious bodies of Hoda Jones and Vander Decken IX. They bind the two pirates in chains, saying that they will never be free again and that the people of the island can rest.
They all comment on what a monster Hody is when they hear the cry. Shirahoshi arrives and carries Luffy, in tears as she cannot stop Luffy’s bleeding and pleads for help. Chopper yells for someone to get the tourniquet out of his backpack and Robin puts him face down on the ground to do so. He then holds Chopper’s face and says that he will move his body for him. As Shirahoshi watches, Chopper tells her that he has stopped the bleeding, but Luffy needs a blood transfusion. He then asks if any of the crew have type F blood. Franky tells him that Luffy is the only one on the team with that blood type and suggests that he ask someone else in the square. Several viewers are hesitant to tell their blood type, and Chopper remembers an old law in the kingdom that prohibits cross-species transfusions. Shirahoshi asks if her blood will work because even though it was a different type, it’s still red. Chopper tells her he appreciates the idea. Everyone is then surprised when Jinbe steps forward and says that he has type F blood and they can use as much as they need. When Chopper tries to invoke the law, Jinbe simply replies that he is a pirate. Everyone cheers, but the left minister is shocked. Neptune asks him what’s wrong with the law being another “curse” the country has.
It takes on a narrative that says that despite the pain and suffering that draws blood, the blood of prejudice will be cleansed by the blood of war. And in an instant, everything is washed away, revealing the path to the sun. After the transfusion, Luffy says Jinbe’s name with his eyes still closed. Everyone is happy to see that he has regained consciousness. Fukaboshi tearfully tells his mother that they are back to zero. Luffy then asks Jinbe to join his crew.
