Summary:
The gas begins to seep in, and due to her injuries, Zoro is forced to carry Tashigi to catch up with the others, much to Tashigi’s outrage. She then tells Zoro to let her go when they reach her subordinates. However, she is distracted by Zoro’s sword, Shusui, and is excited to see it, but Zoro is angry and tells her to stop it.
Meanwhile, Chopper, Nami, and Robin do what they can to stop the angry kids from catching up with Moch by having Chopper calm them down one by one. Despite their efforts, Mocha finds herself cornered by a group of kids who have managed to outrun the Straw Hat Pirates, and the kids try to force candy from Mocha. Mocha has no choice but to put the entire batch of candy in her mouth. Despite Chopper’s pleas, he swallows the entire contents. The story cuts to a flashback to moments earlier when Chopper and Mocha were trying to barricade the door to the Biscuits Room.
Chopper explains to Mocha about Caesar’s deception and using the children for his experiments and how if Caesar continues to use them, the children will die before reaching adulthood. Mocha remembers how her friends promised each other that when they were old, they would meet again and go on an adventure. Mocha realizes the gravity of the situation, but Chopper promises that he and the rest of the Straw Pirates will save her. Mocha vows not to let any of the kids get the candy and runs off to guard the room just as the kids burst in. Back in the present, Mocha starts coughing up blood due to a severe drug overdose. The other children stop when they see her condition and are not sure what to do now. As Chopper, Nami, and Robin rush to Mocha, Sanji and the G-5 Marines finally arrive and begin to subdue and put the children to sleep. The marines move Mocha to the interrogation room, which Chopper is grateful for, praising Mocha for her bravery and hoping he can save her.
Meanwhile, Luffy and Momonosuke emerge from a garbage chute in front of some of Caesar’s men, with Momonosuke passed out and now being carried by Luffy. Luffy grabs one of the guards and demands to know where Caesar is. The guard tells Luffy that Caesar is in the R Building, to which Luffy immediately goes in Caesar’s place.
