Summary:
Buffalo is surprised at how strong General Franky is. He then attacks Franky, saying that no one has ever been able to dodge another attack. Using her powers, she spins Baby 5 on one of her chains, which in turn uses the Sickle Girl, then slams it into General Franky’s left arm, impaling it. Franky laughs and says he’ll give them credit, but only for breaking through the robot’s armor, comparing the pair to a mantis boarding a warship. He then grabs Baby 5 and yanks on the chain, causing Buffalo to lose his balance and lunge forward. He then declares that the Gaon Cannon has set foot on land and shoots them with General Franky’s most powerful attack, the General Cannon. As Buffalo and Baby 5 recover from the attack, they wonder why someone like that would try to stop them from taking over Caesar. Franky then looks down from the tanker and sees Caesar lying there and wonders how the scientist got there. Buffalo stands up and declares that he won’t go down that easily, saying that such a defeat would drag Joker’s name through the mud. Child 5 then declares that they will take Caesar with them no matter what. Franky then asks them if he is right in assuming that they want Caesar.
Back in R-66, the exit is in sight. Usopp begs Nami to conjure up some wind so they don’t die. Everyone cheers as they leave. Franky is glad they all made it. Child 5 and Buffalo are surprised by their sudden arrival. Luffy, Usopp, Chopper, and the other boys in the cart are very excited to see the robot, while Nami, Robin, Tashigi, and the other girls are visibly unimpressed. Law is surprised to see Buffalo and Baby 5 who ask him if he is really going to defy the Joker who spared his heart. Luffy asks if the two are Law’s friends, and Law says no. Realizing their sudden disadvantage, Buffalo and Baby 5 grab Caesar and begin to fly away. Usopp tells everyone to leave the escaping pair to him. Law is about to use his powers and tries to argue but Luffy cuts him off and tells him that Usopp has things under control and Zoro tells him not to underestimate Usopp. Law argues that if they escape, the plan will be foiled. Nami interrupts again, saying that if they’re going to have an alliance, Law needs to trust them more, adding that she needs to put up a bit of a fight after she’s been doing nothing but running. Usopp and Nami then state that they will take care of the distant enemies with their backs turned, and Zoro tells them to hurry. Usopp then orders his Bakun Grass to grow into his Kuro Kabuto, which then begins to eat nearby rubble and twisted metal. Buffalo tells Baby 5 to watch the back because he can’t fly. As Baby 5 vows to defend them with his life, a giant weather egg, which Nami calls Lightning-chan, flies over them and releases a huge storm cloud. Child 5 looks worriedly at the cloud as Nami declares that they won’t run away. He then attacks them with Thunder Breed Tempo and lands a direct hit.
As they begin to fall, Buffalo calls out to Baby 5 and realizes that he is unconscious. Usopp then attacks them with Killer Shooting Star Rush and fires several pieces of rock from the rubble at them. Caesar tells Buffalo that since he can’t move he has to protect him and Buffalo declares that he will complete the mission for the Donquijote family as they are covered in rubble. As they both fall, Caesar manages to stay in the air as the shots pass through him. He then decides to go to Dressrosa alone. Usopp tells him that running away is useless since the last shot was a sea stone handcuff. The cuffs capture Caesar around the neck. Everyone cheers as Usopp proudly declares that he will fight anyone who turns his back. As the three fall into the ocean, Law declares the first step of his plan complete, and Luffy asks Law what he thought of his crew’s abilities.
Somewhere out at sea, a shadowy figure has fallen asleep and is wondering how to get to Punk Hazard.
