Since Chopper has collapsed and cannot help Luffy, Nami tells Zoro to take care of Luffy. As Zoro starts walking towards Luffy to get him, Nami and the rest of the crew take off again, wanting to get to Yuba as quickly as possible. When they start, Vivi thinks that Luffy, Zoro, and Chopper probably won’t be fine, suggesting that they won’t be.

Zoro approaches Luffy, pulling Chopper and telling Luffy to calm down. Throwing punches at his hallucinogenic enemies, Luffy mistakes Zoro for a crocodile. He hits Zoro very hard, prompting Zoro to start defending. Zoro doesn’t want to hurt Luffy, so he puts his swords away. Starts the beginning of the fist fight. The two continue to throw punches until they both hit each other very hard. That knocks them both out. He collapses unconscious into the desert sand.

Chopper then wakes up confused about what happened because he was asleep when they fought. Chopper runs over to where Zoro and Luffy are and wakes Zoro up with a pungent smelling potion. Zoro asks Chopper where the group is and Chopper replies that they were gone when he got up. At first Zoro says that they will just follow the group’s tracks, but then realizes that the desert wind has eaten away at them.

The scene then changes to Nami and Vivi in an ancient ruin. Vivi notes how kingdoms change and disappear, that civilizations on this earth grow and die, but the people stay the same. It is clear that she fears that her father’s kingdom will fall to baroque works and become a dying kingdom. Nami tells her not to worry that Luffy will take them down along with Crocodile. Vivi agrees but is still worried.

Back to Luffy, Chopper and Zoro. After a while, Luffy wakes up and is confused as to why they are alone. Zoro punches him and tells Luffy that it’s his fault and now they’re lost. They went in a random direction. Once Luffy realizes what happened, he begins to complain. Zoro and Chopper go ahead.

They start talking about why everyone joined the crew. Chopper comments that the crew looks so wild compared to him. Zoro then starts talking about how everyone has different goals and their goals to be the best at what they do brings them together.

While they are still talking, Luffy spots a shadow and uses his rockets on his rubber arms to propel them into the cave. Zoro sits on a rock that turns into a sink. He falls into a cave. He spots a Poneglyph and wonders what it is. Luffy and Chopper then both fall into the cave and join Zoro.

As their eyes adjust, they realize they are in a human-built dome. Zoro, Luffy and Chopper decide to leave and catch up with the rest of the group. Luffy waves his arms in an attempt to stand up and exit the underground dome, but misses, causing him to slowly collapse. He eventually succeeds and moves away from the dome. They are sent to fly into the sky. As they land, Chopper feels the wind change. He catches wind of Nami’s perfume. They head in that direction to meet the group.

The view changes back to the rest of the group. Nami and Vivi start talking about Luffy and how the crew came to be. Nami says she has every ability in the pirate crew. Zoro has his swords, Nami is a navigator, Usopp is a liar, Luffy is a fighter, Chopper is a doctor, and Sanji is a cook. Each of them plays a key role in the fabric of the straw pirates and without each of them their roles would fall apart. In this way, they can trust each other because they know that each of them has some unique quality that allows them to experience anything. Vivi is impressed by her answer and likes the theory overall. He turns his head to see Luffy, Chopper, and Zoro coming over the horizon. He now knows that Nami is right, that he has nothing to worry about because every member of the crew is powerful and loyal.
