Summary:
Angel Island is destroyed by Enel attacks. Luffy decides to go and ring the golden bell before Enel takes him away.
The scene begins with the group at the foot of the beanstalk asking Wyper about the golden bell. Usopp is completely lost as Wyper continues by asking Robin where the bell is. Usopp begs to get out fearing for his life, while Robin tells Wyper that he is at the top of the beanstalk. Robin says the ruins spoke of the city landing on Giant Jack, which sent the bell high into the clouds.
Then there is a quick flash of the crew walking through the woods. Enel then talks about finally having a bell when Luffy catches up to Enel enough that Enel notices him and sends a lightning bolt at Luffy which he dodges but it causes the giant jack to crack and Luffy falls with it. Wyper tries to climb the beanstalk, but notices that it has been cut. “The great Calgary warrior wants to hear his sound … that’s our goal,” says Wyper. Luffy tries to climb the stem but struggles to hold on as Enel mocks him and says he will show him something miraculous.
Luffy then uses the golden ball and his rubber ability “Gomu Gomu Yo-Yo” to dash up, but ends up breaking the vine and falls down. Nami runs over him to Luffy’s surprise as he thought he had managed to fly higher.

When the group saw this and Robin said, a thundercloud in the shape of a sphere. The townspeople try to get to the ocean, and Enel is cut short as he says that the Maxim Ark has indeed made him omniscient as the ball falls on the town. Enel calls out “Raigo!” when the ball explodes on top of the city and the survivors look back wondering if the White Berets survived and realize their homeland is gone forever.
Enel laughs and says “this is what the sky should look like” then the scene cuts to a scared Usopp and a horrified Gan Fall. Next, Conis interrupts on the Going Merry, saying she wants to take them back to the blue sea. It then cuts to Luffy and Nami with Luffy saying he has some unfinished business with Nami saying “Your life is more important than gold”. Luffy then says that he won’t die when he asks Nami if she saw it, the City of Gold, “it wasn’t a lie, forefather of the ancients.” It then cuts to a flashback with Cricket and Luffy saying that he has to ring the bell so that the old man and the monkey will hear and stop searching the ocean floor. Standing exhausted at the cut base of the beanstalk, Luffy grabs Enel’s ship and is easily kicked away by Enel and falls. Nami refuses to join him and Enel shouts that everyone will perish and return everything to its original state. This infuriates Luffy but Enel easily stops him from climbing again, this doesn’t stop Luffy from trying but Enel stops him again saying “No one can stop me now”.
