Summary:
In his room and still holding the gun to Luffy, Iceburg demands that Luffy bring Robin to him. However, Luffy says it’s impossible because he doesn’t even know where Robin is himself. Suddenly, a gunshot rings out and the other Water 7 boatmen rush into Iceburg’s room. As the shipmen enter, it is revealed that Iceburg did indeed fire, but Luffy had already escaped. Iceburg then tells the boatmen to arrest all the straw pirates who have lost all hope of a straight answer. The shipbuilders began to run as Luffy watched from the outside and Nami questioned him about his conversation with Iceburg. Luffy confirms Iceburg’s story that Robin shot him, but Nami is confused. However, Luffy refuses to believe that Robin would try to kill someone.
At the steam train station, Chimney and Gonbe get off the train and Kokoro follows them. The three of them start walking around and Kokoro starts talking to a nearby conductor who wants to know what’s going on. The Conductor informs her that everyone in Water 7 is looking for the Straw Pirates because they believed they tried to assassinate Iceburg. Kokoro is shocked to hear this while Chimney looks at the newspaper where he recognizes the Straw Hats. Back at Dock 1, Luffy is seen jumping from a tall building and holding Nami. He quickly reaches out to grab onto something and lands on top of another building. Nami attacks Luffy for this, but Luffy reminds her that they couldn’t take the elevator because the boatmen were looking for them. Nami then notices the climate change and the wind picks up, knowing that a typhoon is approaching. He then concludes that Water 7’s weak point is flooded, but agrees to go back to the inn for now.
At Blueno’s Bar, Blueno is seen polishing a glass and Franky with Mozu and Kiwi suddenly burst in. Blueno welcomes Franky and Franky needs him to fill his bottles. Blueno then asks if Franky has any money, but Franky thinks he’s already spent it all. Mozu and Kiwi reveal that they still have a lot of money, which disappoints Franky as he wants to spend all the money in one day. Franky then treats all the other people at the bar to free drinks and sits down to find out where his coke bottles are. Kokoro then starts talking to Franky and the cyborg is surprised to see her. Franky expresses his anger that Luffy ruined his days, but Blueno shows up with Franky’s bottles. Franky then stuffs the bottles into his chest and regains his energy. Franky asks Kokoro why she is there and Kokoro says Aqua Laguna is coming. Kokoro reminds Franky to get his house ready, but Franky replies that he doesn’t have a house anymore. Kokoro then reveals that Iceburg was shot and Franky knows that Galley-La and the other citizens are looking for the pirates who did it. Kokoro then says that the pirates didn’t try to assassinate Iceburg, but an organization called CP9 are the culprits. Kokoro goes on to say that the CP9s never really show up and Franky wants to know if she has any proof of that. Kokoro then says that it’s just rumors that upset Franky. However, Kokoro continues to say that they are good at eliminating people without anyone noticing. In the secret location, a man is heard talking to Robin, who praises her for her attempt to assassinate Iceburg. The man then tells Robin that all the citizens of Water 7 are after her, but then says that they will break into Iceburg’s house at night. The man also says that Iceburg is the last of Tom’s workers still alive and that he has something he wants.
Back in the main area of Water 7, an announcement is broadcast telling everyone to prepare for the Aqua Laguna. More people are seen boarding their homes and tying up their ships with another man saying that pirates will appear soon. The shipbuilders are looking for more straw pirates and Zoro is seen hiding in an alley. Zoro is confused as to why the boatmen are chasing him and suddenly a newspaper flies into his face. Zoro reads the newspaper and is shocked to read that he is the culprit behind the attempted assassination of Iceburg. The boatmen overhear Zoro and begin to surround him. Back at the inn, the boatmen interrogate the manager with him, saying that the Straw Hats were staying at his inn, but they suspect they can return because they left their luggage there. At the Going Merry, the boatmen begin to search the area. One of the boatmen questions the other about the boat being theirs, and the other boatman confirms it because of their flag. However, another shipwright inspects the ship and says that it is too damaged to sail any further. Usopp is seen hiding behind a large rock preparing to fire. The boatmen assume that the straw pirates have abandoned the ship and leave. Usopp has to wonder who those people were and asks if something is going on in town.
Back in the city, Luffy and Nami are seen sneaking around the alleyways. Nami then worries for the others, but says that Sanji and Chopper are safe because people don’t know their faces. Sanji is seen guarding the Sea Train departures with Chopper nearby. Chopper wonders if Robin boarded the Sea Train and Sanji hopes she hasn’t because of the size of the city. Sanji then asks a nearby person if he has seen Robin. The man simply replies that he would hand her over because he is a murderer. Sanji and Chopper then start to worry about the others, especially with Aqua Laguna coming soon. Suddenly, Chopper starts to pick up her scent and starts following her. Chopper starts running faster and Sanji tries to keep up. Eventually, both Chopper and Sanji spot Robin on the other side of the water and wonder where she’s been. Sanji hopes that Robin will return and tries to find another way to get on her side, but she tells him not to. Robin then says that he won’t be going back to the Straw Hat Pirates and Sanji thinks it’s because of the newspaper and says he doesn’t believe it. However, Robin confirms that she tried to kill Iceburg and explains that she has darkness within her. He warns Sanji and Chopper that the darkness will be the end of them. She says it’s only going to get worse and thanks them for all the kindness they’ve shown her and turns to leave. Sanji and Chopper are shocked as they watch Robin leave. Sanji jumps into the water to go after her as Chopper calls her name.
