Summary:
Luffy attempts to attack Gecko Moria, but is instead forced to face his shadow clone: Doppelman, while Usopp continues to maneuver around the Wild Zombies to get to Perona to now face Kumashi’s wrath. Sanji saves Nami from Absalom, who sees him as no threat due to his zombie strength, but Sanji unleashes his own rage against the lion-faced man, both due to the injury to a female crew member and an unknown connection between the two of them.
When Luffy confronts Moria, she warns that even if he is beaten, the shadows will never return to their rightful owners, so Moria says that he is the one who decides if the shadows can return or not. He also dares Luffy to try to make him. Luffy uses the Gum-Gum Pistol to hit him, but it’s actually a decoy, Doppelman. Moria says that his pawns will make him Pirate King and also says that Oars wants that title.
Moria also says that the zombies with the victim’s shadow will impersonate the personality, but it won’t take long for them to become eternally loyal to him. Luffy tries to land the Gum-Gum Gatling, but Doppelman becomes Brick Bats to chase Luffy. Captain Straw Hat returns and prepares a counterattack.
Meanwhile, Usopp continues to run away from the Wild Zombies as he has to deal with them and Perona alone. Suddenly, Usopp feigns injury and uses a Pepper Star to make them sneeze, then fires more Salt Stars to clear the zombies. He then fires a Firebird Star but misses. However, the chandelier causes a fire and panics the Wild Zombies, but Kumashi blocks Usopp from hitting his boss. Perona flees into the halls with Usopp in pursuit. Kumashi also gives chase and tries to impale Usopp. He then goes berserk and tries to smash the sniper who runs in panic.
Outside, Oars continues his rampage and props his feet up on the water, making waves, scaring Cerberus and yelling that he’s going to be the Pirate King, scaring off more zombies.
Sanji then kicks his way through and grabs Nami in his arms.
He stretches his oars and wonders if he would sink. It splashes into the water so the waves are huge, but the giant zombie tries to swim back to shore. Hildon flies to him and warns him about the salt water that would cleanse him.
Meanwhile, Sanji sees Nami not moving and believes her to be a goddess. She also believes she is a fairy, but comes to her senses. Absalom notices him and fires invisible shots at the cook. Absalom points out how Inuppe showed Sanji’s personality. The Zombie Generals are still listening to Absalom.
Absalom then warns Sanji to leave Nami because his wife or Sanji would be killed. However, Sanji grabs Absalom with his legs and throws him back. He almost fires Hands of the Dead at Sanji, but the chef uses Basses Cote and Longe to kick him. To get back at Absalom, Sanji kicks him with Tendron, Flanchet, Quasi, Queue, Cuisseau and Jarret kicks.
Absalom turns invisible, but Sanji manages to find him and kicks him with a Veau Shot, knocking him into several benches. Sanji starts to flare up, knowing how his problems go way back.
