Summary:
Usopp is forced to go through the gauntlet of Peron’s Horo Horo powers, including an invulnerable body, size manipulation, passing through him, and creating Mini-Hollows that slowly tear away his stamina and body. Usopp temporarily transforms into a Sogeking to draw out Kumashi’s shadow, and is forced to face a wall of despair until he finally discovers Perona’s weakness: her own room, where her real body lies helplessly using her powers!
Moria marches over to Luffy, angry at the injury that was inflicted on him. The Straw Hat Captain tries another Gum-Gum Stamp, but Doppelman stops it and grabs Luffy before splitting into Brick Bats. He stops them with a bubblegum net and drops them, but they reform again.
Outside, Perona laughs ominously and admits that she seemed to panic, but then controlled herself. He then tells Usopp to cheer up, but Usopp shows his Kabuto. Ghost Princess disappears and seemingly becomes a giant in front of Usopp. Sniper tries a meteorite swallow, but Perona shrinks back to normal, so she misses. He also dodges the Mantis Meteor and mocks Usopp’s aim. He keeps missing shots and finds Perona working his way into his body. Perona informs Usopp that he will soon die of an exploding heart. Despite his plea, the heart appears to be failing, but it was actually a bluff. Her hands just went through.
Sniper also tries a six-chambered viper star, but they go right over Perona and she moves her hands over Usopp to scare him further. Usopp knows how he could be safe from Peron’s body, but uses Mini Hollows and Ghost Wrap to cause explosions. The fire star didn’t hit her either.
The Mini Hollows are closing in and seem to be tearing Usopp apart.
Kumashi searches for Usopp in a blind rage and hears Peron’s Ghost Wrap. A bear zombie approaches as Usopp curses his bad luck as Kumashi takes more hits. Defeat seems certain until Usopp becomes the Sogeking and shoots salt into Kumashi’s mouth, finally cleansing him. Perona is angered by Sogeking’s appearance and attacks the Ghost Princess. Sogeking speaks in Usopp’s mind, begging him not to give up. He learns about how Perona’s personality seemed odd when she panicked and somehow calmed down.
Usopp then looks for cover and sees a door. He takes Kabuto and shoots an Atlas Comet at the door. He then sees Peron’s real body, believing in his victory.
