One Piece Episode 419

Summary:

This episode shows where Chopper and Sanji are after Kuma sent them away. Chopper is awakened by huge birds who want to use him as a toy, and when he finally escapes, the natives of the island try to eat him. Meanwhile, Sanji wakes up in the arms of a beautiful but shy “woman” on an island where everything is girly, and as he pursues the woman, he notices something strange about the islanders in her home.

On Momonga’s ship, Hancock demands that each of her meals be at least a hundred kilos, which she gives to Luffy as she continues to dream about him. Two marines attempt to peer into Hancock’s room, so he turns them to stone.

A few days ago on the island in South Blue, Chopper dreams of finding the rest of the crew, only to be awakened by two giant birds pecking at his face. The birds treat Chopper like a toy, rolling him across the floor and tossing him around before dropping him into the forest below. Later, Chopper remembers that he has Rayleigh’s vivre card and plans to find food in the forest and get back to the crew, but is knocked out by one of the island’s natives. Chopper wakes up tied up and hanging over a boiling pot as the natives plan to use him as the main ingredient in their “Tanuki” hot pot. Chopper escapes using his heavy point as the natives are attacked by birds and flee. The narrator explains that Chopper is on the Kingdom of Turin, an island ruled by birds and rumored to hold treasure.

Sanji arrives on the dream island of Momoiro, where everything is pink and girly. Elizabeth finds him, takes him to a bench and wipes his face with a handkerchief. When Sanji wakes up, Elizabeth is confused and runs away before Sanji has a chance to see her face, but follows to thank her and return her handkerchief. Along the way, Sanji notices several pink animals with blond flowing hair and wonders if he is in heaven. At her home, Sanji starts talking to Elizabeth behind closed doors when she mentions that she is a cook. Elizabeth asks if Sanji also likes clothes and flowery dresses, to which he says yes, interpreting the question as him being interested in how the clothes look on her.

Elizabeth lets Sanji in and hands him a dress to try on, at which point he finally sees her face and realizes that she is actually Okama (a cross-dressing man). Sanji realizes that everyone else on the island is an okama (even the animals) and the narrator explains that Momoiro Island is the second Mistress Island where everyone has a girl’s heart. A group of okamas chase after Sanji, trying to force him to wear clothes and explain that they are called the Kamabakka Kingdom, but Sanji describes where he landed as “hell”.
