Summary:
All of the various Whitebeard commanders show off their skills and abilities, as do some of the marines. Akainu reveals that his abilities include magma by stopping a giant ice block attack thrown by Diamond Jozu. Meanwhile, Koby and Helmeppo question their worth in battle. Little Oars Jr., a descendant of Oars, then enters the scene.
Mihawk launches his shockwave towards Whitebeard, who is blocked by Jozu with his diamond abilities. Right after that, the Whitebeard Pirates decide to charge forward, which Sengoku counters by ordering the marines to shoot them with the front guns. Just as Whitebeard’s commanders broke through, Kizaru, overwhelmed by their strength, decided that in order to end the battle with minimal casualties, it was better to kill Whitebeard as soon as possible, willingly leaving his post to get in front of Whitebeard and be attacked by Yasakani. no Magatama that Marco deflects on his Phoenix Form. The Marines and Kizaru’s watch were stunned as he took no damage, to which Marco replied that he had.
Marco then flies towards Kizaru, who was attacked by his technique, though with no visible effect. Marco is able to kick and blast Kizaru, but this does not affect Kizaru at all. And just as he orders the formation of the Giants to get ready, Jozu orders his crew to flee so he can break the ice floor and launch a massive ice block (about 10 times the size of the Giants) that forces Akainu to leave his place and destroy the Ice Block with his Dai Funka with minimal effort. He then creates a massive meteor shower with his volcanic rocks that ignites the battlefield, much to the horror of the observers on the Sabaody Archipelago, destroying one of Whitebeard’s ships and attacking Whitebeard himself with it, but this has no effect as Whitebeard uses his Bisento to block it. The Marines then continue firing their cannons at Whitebeard, destroying 3 of the 4 nearest ships in Marineford, with only Moby Dick remaining unscathed as Whitebeard, Marco, Jozu, and Vista are destroyed by the cannonballs.
The Commanders then fully defeated the Marines on their way, just as the Vice Admirals defeated some of the Whitebeard Pirates. The battle is so violent that both Koby and Helmeppo are afraid and think it is better to run. Before they can, Little Oars Jr. appears. and forces Gecko Moria and Donquixote Doflamingo to battle. The episode ends with Oars Jr. slashes one of the naval ships and claims he won’t let Ace die.
