After Jinbe is accepted as a Shichibukai, the Sun Pirates return to Fish-Man Island and continue their lives as normal citizens, all showing their gratitude to Tiger. At the palace, Otohime expresses her gratitude for Jinbe’s efforts to help her cause. One day, the island receives a distress call from a crashed ship and they hesitate to let them in, realizing that a World Noble is on board, shocking the Minister of the Right. Otohime tells them to let them in and says she will help them while Neptune wonders why there is a world noble on the island. All the citizens saw the shipwreck and wondered why it was on the island because of how much they looked down on their own kind. The noble starts shooting at the others and demands to be rescued, saying that the island is dying of fish and that he should get a mask so he doesn’t have to breathe the same air as the common people. The infobox reveals that his name is Mjosgard. All the citizens are angry at how he demands help from his rude behavior and how he shoots others for help. Mjosgard laments how things turned out, remembering his conversation with his father about how the Sun Pirates’ slaves wanted to go to Fish-Man Island to retrieve their “valuable Fish-Man collection”. The soldiers are wondering what to do with him and Hody Jones says they should kill him because he is the worst kind of person in the world. Decken hears the commotion and decides to move on. Jinbe and Aladine arrive and tell the princes and Shirahoshi to stay back. When Shirahoshi asks Fukaboshi what a world noble is, he says that they are human, but very bad.
While Mjosgard is still asking for help, the members of the Sun Pirates come out and Mjosgard recognizes some of them and asks them to come back as he is their master and tells them that they can never be free if he didn’t say so. At that moment, everyone points their weapons at Mjosgard. The citizens told them not to because if they killed him they would be in trouble. One pirate member says that the admiral can be called if a world noble is in danger, but if there is no one to report the attack, leaving it as an incident of shipwreck due to the ocean floor, leaving Mjosgard horrified. Realizing that he is right, the citizens support them in declaring that Noble should die for what he did to them. Mjosgard says that since he is a noble he should be saved and tells them not to. The pirate says he tried, but he can never forgive him for what he did to them, and just as he pulls the trigger, Otohime arrives and saves Mjosgard. She was just scratched and tells them to put the weapons down while the kids watch. The pirates ask if they know what he did to them, and she says that she understands and feels their pain, but they can’t let their hatred or resentment be transferred to the children or it will spread. Remembering what Tiger said about hatred, Jinbe realizes that Otohime is right. Just then, Mjosgard stands up and holds Otohime hostage, stating that whether she is the queen of the kingdom or the “fish” realm, she is still inferior to him, and demands that she be given a doctor and a mask. Just as he is about to kill her, Shirahoshi yells at her mother and the five sea kings appear and scare the citizens, Jinbe, Decken, Mjosgard and even Hody and the soldiers. Otohime is shocked by what Shirahoshi did while Jinbe wonders what happened and Hody looks at Shirahoshi in shock. Decken realizes that Shirahoshi is a legend of a mermaid princess who can control sea kings and was what his ancestor, the very first Vander Decken, had been searching for his entire life. Decken shouts to his ancestors that he’s finally found her and tells his crew that if he wants her power he has to marry her first, but his crew reminds him that she’s just a little girl so he realizes it’s a problem . Aladdin, seeing Mjosgard, decides to treat him and then Otohime.
A few weeks pass and Mjosgard recovers, though he is completely ungrateful, calling them cattle and saying they will regret it, while the soldiers comment on how ungrateful he is that they saved his life and they shouldn’t let him go because the island was in trouble, when they let him go. Otohime wishes to go with him to the world above to prove that it is safe to travel to the surface. The citizens and family, although they don’t like it, allow it and wish her good luck and a safe return home.
