Summary:
One Piece, Toriko, and Dragon Ball Z characters enter the IGO tournament to win Carat meat, which is said to be the tastiest in the world. However, he leads in a tie between Goku, Toriko and Luffy. Meanwhile, Zoro, Zebra, and Vegeta accidentally meet in a remote part of the plant and start fighting. Back at the tournament, a deathmatch begins to decide who wins the meat, which Mr. Satan happens to be involved in. After a powerful hit among the strongest attacks of the participants, only Mr. Satan remains in the arena, resulting in him winning the meat.
The winner then decides to share the meat with each of the three groups, leading to a happy start. However, it is revealed to everyone that the tournament was only to attract the attention of a creature called Akami. Akami then appears in front of everyone and attacks Mr. Satan, Usopp, and Gohan, draining their energy before leaving. The strongest of them decide to capture Akami to eat his delicious meat and go after him. After defeating Sanji, Piccolo, Franky, Gotenks, and other characters, Akami evolves and begins attacking Goku, Toriko, and Luffy, turning the trio into a monster.

The International Gourmet Organization (IGO) holds a Food Tournament (Tenkaichi Kuōkai) which consists of a race to the center of the host island and the championship prize of a luxuriously rare carat of sizzling beef, hosted by Tenkaichi Budokai Announcer, IGO Director Mansam and “World’s Strongest Man” Mr. Satan. Luffy, Sanji, Chopper, Nami, Franky, Brook, Zoro, Toriko, Sunny, Rin, Komatsu, Setsuno, Son Goku, Son Gohan, Son Goten, Trunks, Android 18 and The Turtle Hermit enter the tournament while Robin, Usopp, Coco, Krillin, Marron, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Chaozu, Puar, Gyūmaō, Yajirobe, Karin and Videl watch the audience. At the start of the race, all the other contestants are eliminated by the giant insect Konnanoarijigoku, leaving only the eighteen in the race.
The group arrives at a crossroads and splits into a mountain path, a desert path, and a forest path. Sanji, Komatsu, Setsuno, and Gohan travel through the forest and encounter Manpukuhihi; Instead of fighting it, Setsuno explains that he will let them pass if they can satisfy his hunger and Sanji and Komatsu cook him several plates of food. On the desert road, Brook and Roshi feign heat exhaustion and claim that Nami and Rin’s rude actions will help them recover, which they fail to do. Luffy, Toriko, and Goku (having already defeated the cosmic being) arrive at the finish line and grab the flag of the Goal at the same time, prompting a battle between the three for victory; As the fighting arena is set up, Mr. Satan accidentally falls in there and the other announcers assume that he is competing alongside the three finalists. Luffy, Goku, and Toriko underestimate their attacks and destroy most of the arena, leaving only a small section where Mr. Satan is crouching. Because of this, Mr. Satan is technically the only contestant who is still in bounds and wins the tournament. Mr. Satan decides to divide the meat between all the finalists and their friends when a mysterious being approaches the island.

Mr. Satan shares the prize of Carat Sizzled Cattle with the rest of the group, pointing out that he will enjoy it more if he shares it with his friends. During the meal, Robin, Piccolo, and Coco become suspicious of IGO’s motives and question Mansam. Mansam reveals that the tournament was a plan to gather the world’s strongest fighters and capture the Deep Sea Glutton Akami, which has the ability to drain the energy of living creatures. Akami jumps out of the sea and steals the power of Usopp, Mr. Satan, and Gohan, making himself bigger and stronger. Akami escapes and Setsuno informs everyone that they have 30 minutes to catch him and save those he attacked.
Sanji, Brook, Franky, Sunny, Coco, Piccolo, Goten, and Trunks all attempt to attack Akami, but their energy is also drained, allowing Akami to evolve into a stronger form. Luffy, Toriko, and Goku find and attack Akami and are impressed by each other’s fighting abilities. However, their attack is unsuccessful as Akami can now also absorb the power of attacks thrown at him. Toriko therefore realizes that he must use an attack powerful enough to defeat Akami in one hit. Goku asks Luffy and Torkio to take Akaimi away while he charges the Genki Dama (“Spirit Bomb”), borrowing energy from the living beings around him. As Akami begins to steal energy from the charging Spirit Bomb, Goku requests that the other people in the tournament lend their energy to attack as well. Luffy, Toriko and Goku hit Akaimi with Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gatling, Hit Nail Punch and Kamehameha in addition to Spirit Bomb, finishing off Akami. The group celebrates with a banquet, eaten by Akami, while Zoro, Zebra, and Vegeta are still fighting elsewhere on the island.
