Summary:
Law’s heart is broken by a mysterious man named Vergo who was sent along with Monet to watch over Caesar. Law gets knocked out by Vergo, who was carrying a bamboo staff infused with Haki. Caesar tells his men to tie up their straw hats and G-5. Meanwhile, Chopper searches for a way to cure the children.
Zoro’s group waits for Sanji to save the samurai’s torso. Sanji uses Haki to find the body and realizes he is in a shark’s mouth. He manages to escape before the gas consumes him. The samurai then reveals himself as Kin’emon. He demonstrates his abilities by cutting fire and destroying slime. He then tries to find his son Momonosuke. Zoro’s group decides to help him.
Law is seen writhing in pain in front of a mysterious man named Vergo, who reveals that he was sent along with Monet to guard Caesar. Before Law could muster any strength to retaliate, Vergo squeezes his heart in his hand and proceeds to knock Law out with a Haki-infused bamboo staff.
At the entrance to the lab, the G-5 Marines are shocked by the scene before them, finding it hard to believe that Smoker has been defeated twice in a day. The crews wonder what attack Caesar used to defeat their officers as well as the three Straw Hats. Caesar ordered his men to tie up the unconscious Straw Hats and G-5 officers, and they obeyed without question, leaving the G-5 Marines helpless.
While still waiting for Sanji, who went to pull the samurai’s torso out of the water, Zoro’s group has trouble fending off the slime, as cutting it only causes the slimes to release poisonous gas. The samurai watches the waters worriedly when he suddenly starts screaming in pain, confusing Zoro and Brook. In the murky waters, Sanji uses Haki to find the body and discovers it in the shark’s mouth. After defeating the shark, he saved the hull and quickly used Blue Walk in Nami’s body to escape before the poison could consume the entire lake. With the samurai restored, he introduces himself as Kin’emon. He expresses his gratitude profusely to Sanji.
Meanwhile, Chopper is currently infiltrating Caesar’s private lab, looking for a way to cure the children.
Caesar’s men stand guard over the captives who are bound in chains. Knowing the airship was ready, Caesar plans to head out and find the kids to give them the drug candy. He gives orders for the captives to be imprisoned and secured in his chambers.
The slimes surrounded Zoro’s group. Sanji scolds Brook and Zoro for not dealing with them. Kin’emon suggests that they should burn the slimes, revealing that he can burn and dismember an enemy with his sword. He demonstrates his power by igniting the surrounding slime with his sword, which soon exploded. He proceeds to stop the explosion and save the group. When the path is clear, Kin’emon declares that he is going to save his son. He thanks the group for their help and leaves for the lab. However, Zoro was interested in the style Kin’emon was using and decided to help him.
