Summary:
Kuzan immediately freezes Doflamingo to prevent him from killing Smoker. However, Doflamingo survives the attack but refuses to fight the former admiral. He then leaves with Buffalo and Baby 5, asking “what Kuzan really is”. Smoker is then treated by the G-5 Marines, who ask if Kuzan is now the boss of the underworld.
Meanwhile on the Thousand Sunny, Usopp and Chopper are paranoid about an attack from Doflamingo and are wearing samurai armor created from Kin’emon’s powers. Kin’emon is angry with Zoro, believing that Zoro desecrated the grave of the famous samurai Ryuma in order to obtain Shusui. Meanwhile, Momonosuke plays cute to get the attention of Nico Robin and Nami, making Brook, Kin’emon, and Sanji jealous of him.
Meanwhile, someone at sea is watching the ship, intending to attack it.
Despite Kuzan’s presence, Doflamingo attempts to kill Smoker, but is frozen by Kuzan’s Hie Hie no Mi ability. However, he manages to break free as the ice did not reach his heart. Seeing nothing to gain by fighting Kuzan, Doflamingo decides to leave, but not before asking Kuzan what he stands for due to rumors he’s heard. Kuzan does not answer him and shouts at the medic. Doflamingo collects Baby 5 and Buffalo and leaves. Only then does Kuzan state that he has never fully trusted the World Government and believes he can make a difference outside of the Marines, which is why he is no longer enlisted in the Marines. Smoker questions how he knew about Punk Hazard as one of the World Government’s top secrets, worried that Kuzan is involved with the criminal underworld.
The G-5 Marines, who have been eavesdropping on the conversation, are yelled at by Kuzan, who asks them to clear out as they treat Smoker. He then informs Smoker that he does no such thing. He also warns Smoker to tell Sakazuki to watch out for Doflamingo as he is currently the biggest threat to the Marines. For while Doflamingo’s presence is not as obvious as the Kuja Pirates, his pirate prowess is quite exceptional. He tells Smoker to ask the fleet admiral to send the admirals as soon as possible. He also asks the G-5 Marines not to reveal his presence there, which they commit to.
Out at sea, the crew takes a breather. Usopp and Chopper are furious that Doflamingo is coming to attack them. Kin’emon almost gets into a fight with Zoro because he thinks he robbed Ryuma’s grave because he had his Shusui sword with him. Momonosuke is revealed to be taking a bath with Robin, much to the envious anger of Sanji, Brook, and Kin’emon.
When Momonosuke is confronted about it, Nami slaps the three of them for their alleged bullying. When he is rescued, he addresses Nami as the fair princess, prompting Nami to hug him, angering all three perverts. Momonosuke deliberately rubs his face against Nami’s breasts as he grins maliciously at the three. As the night wears on, most of the crew (Luffy, Zoro, Brook, Nami, Robin, Law, and Momonosuke) are asleep while the others (Usopp, Chopper, Franky, Sanji, and Kin’emon) stay awake taking care of Sunny.
Meanwhile, a mysterious individual in the sea follows the ship with the intention of stealing Caesar Clown.
