Summary:
Seeing his true identity revealed, Luffy tries to fend off Chinjao’s devastating heads and Cavendish’s irrational hatred while trying to convince them in vain that he is “Lucy”. Fortunately, Chinjao’s grandsons manage to intervene and stop Don Chinjao’s rampage before he is disqualified. They convinced him that they should focus on the “real prize” and that with Luffy in Block C, they could kill him in the ring without consequence. However, Cavendish intends to kill Luffy before the match and continues to hunt for Luffy, who has escaped the fight and is hiding outside, hanging under the grandstand window.
In the Battle Royale, only 30 fighters remain in the ring and their number continues to decrease after Tank Lepanto is defeated by Abdullah and Jeet, who are in turn defeated by Bellamy. Much to everyone’s disgust, however, Bartolomeo pees in the water in front of the audience. Hack sees this as profanity and attacks him from behind, but somehow his attack is canceled and his arm is broken and bleeding while Bartolomeo remains unharmed, leaving everyone who saw it shocked and confused by what happened.
Don Chinjao tells Luffy and Cavendish in the participant’s line of sight about Garp’s reputation in the past, how he is considered a demon by many pirates, and how Garp scarred him. Cavendish questions Luffy about his true identity, but Luffy tells him that he is not Luffy and is Lucy. Chinjao states that he will take his grudge out on Garp on Luffy, and Luffy responds by telling Chinajo to take it out on Garp instead. Cavendish then asks Luffy if he really is Garp’s grandson, and Luffy replies that he is Lucy. Cavendish then tries to draw his sword and tells Luffy that if Straw Hat is really Luffy then he will beat him right there. Chinjao then says that he wishes he had discovered Monkey D. Dragon’s identity sooner so that Luffy would never be born. Chinjao attacks Luffy as he says this.
Nearby, the other gladiators notice Chinajo going on a rampage against Luffy. Luffy tells Chinjao to hang on and Cavendish approaches Luffy and tries to pull off his beard. The audience then states that Chinjao is no joke and that he once had a bounty of over five hundred million Bellies. Chinjao then prepares to attack Cavendish and Luffy. Cavendish draws his sword and the nearby gladiators identify it as the Durandal, one of the greatest blades in the world. Cavendish says that Luffy is his prey, but Chinjao ignores him and attacks him and Luffy. Cavendish blocks Chinjao with Durandal and the nearby gladiators notice that the sword has gone through his head. The gladiators then notice that Chinjao stopped the blade and that it didn’t actually go through his head. The gladiators then exclaim that the warriors cannot be human due to their extraordinary strength. Chinjao then continues to attack Cavendish and Luffy relentlessly, and Cavendish says they can’t cut corners if they want to take him down. Luffy then gets angry and knocks Chinjao to the ground.
The gladiators then exclaim that Luffy kicked Chinjao’s ass and question his identity. The gladiators are then shocked when Chinjao stands up, unharmed by the encounter. The gladiators then talk about the myths that surround Chinjao, including him smashing the arctic continent with a headbutt. Luffy is also surprised that his attack didn’t cause any damage. Chinjao then says that even if Cavendish and Luffy have talent, it’s too early to go up against him. Cavendish then fully believes that Lucy in disguise is Luffy, and Luffy tells him to leave him alone. Cavendish then says that Luffy is good at making people hate him because he steals people’s popularity and was born as Garp’s grandson. Luffy then says that he didn’t know any of those things, but then corrects himself by saying that he is Lucy. Chinjao then tells Cavendish that if he intends to get in his way, he’ll just take him down too.
Suddenly, Sai and Boo appear and tell Chinjao that this is as far as he should go now. They state that he will be disqualified if he does it now and grab him to stop him. Chinjao tells them to keep their hands off him and also says that he has finally found Garp’s bloodline. Sai and Boo respond by saying that if he is disqualified now, they won’t be able to achieve their true goal of entering the tournament. Colosseum guards appear and tell the group that if they fight they will kick them out. Cavendish notices and says he doesn’t care if he gets fired, but then notices that Luffy has disappeared. Sai and Boo then tell Chinjao that he can kill Luffy in Block C since they are in the same block together. Cavendish then says that he won’t let Luffy escape and says that he will take his own life before the match even begins.
Several spectators then ask what they heard, that Straw Hat Luffy is there. Luffy is then seen hanging on the side of the window, remembering how he promised Franky that he wouldn’t get caught. The battle announcer announces that Tank Lepanto has been defeated by Abdullah and Jeet. Jeet laughs and the audience says that the two always play dirty tricks and call out Lepanto’s name. The announcer states that over a hundred contestants have been eliminated in such a short time and only thirty contestants remain. Dagama then declares that as long as his kingdom has the royal stamp, they will win. Blue Gilly attacks Ricky and Abdullah and Jeet taunt the other gladiators.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the block, Abdullah and Jeet battle other competitors. While Abdullah attacks them from the front, Jeet attacks them from behind, causing one of the fighters to tell Jeet that what they are doing is cheating. The two then stand next to each other and Abdullah says how much he loves the sound of fighting.
Elsewhere on the block, a fighter tells Hack that fishmen shouldn’t stick their noses where they don’t belong. He goes on to say that Hack shouldn’t be there because he’s a monster. The warrior continues to taunt Ha
