Summary:
The straw pirates aboard the Thousand Sunny find themselves in trouble as they are under attack by the Donquixote Pirates, led by Giolla, who has transformed both the crew and the ship into abstract art. Giolla reveals that their goal is to capture Momonosuke, and since the ship is warped, the Straw Hat Pirates have no way of leaving Dressrosa.
At the coliseum, Bellamy is given a second chance to gain Doflamingo’s favor by murdering Luffy. Ricky refuses to be treated for the injured, but gives up when he meets Rebecca, whom he remembers as a child. Luffy becomes a crowd favorite after taming Ucy and riding the beast around the ring. Unfortunately, they run into Hajrudin, a giant from Elbaf, who crushes Lucy like a bull. Although Luffy is unharmed, his new friend is unlucky enough to avoid injury, and in a rage, Luffy punches the giant in the face with a Haki-infused fist, knocking him out of the tournament.
Off the coast of Dressrosa on the Thousand Sunny, Nami, Brook, Chopper and Momonosuke check what happened inside the ship. Suddenly, someone appears and uses a strange power to rebuild the door, shocking the others. The women leave the room and Nami asks who she is. Two men appear and introduce her as Giolla of the Donquijote family under Trebolo’s army. Giolla then says that she has an idea and uses her special powers to remake Nami, Brook, Chopper, and Momonosuke into strange looking characters. The four are shocked by their appearance and Giolla laughs and says they are a work of art. Nami demands that Giolla turn them back and Giolla says she will only if they hand over Momonosuke. Nami insists to Momonosuke that they won’t, and when Giolla overhears Nami, she throws another art cloud at them. Luckily, Nami opens the hatch to block the attack and she and the others escape after the smoke clears. Giolla and the two men wonder where they went, and Chopper sneaks in and opens the bottom door for Nami, Momonosuke, and Brook to escape.
Giolla is upset that they managed to escape and Nami and the others taunt Giolla into chasing them. Brook comments to Nami on how to get the interior of the Thousand Sunny back to normal, but Nami doesn’t know, but says she has to stop it from getting any worse. Chopper still hopes that Giolla will follow them, but is surprised that she turns the other way. Giolla suddenly calls for more of his soldiers and they arrive on Donquijot Doflamingo’s submarine. Giolla tells the soldiers to chase the Straw Pirates and retrieve Momonosuke. Giolla then begins to prepare for another artistic attack and the Straw Hats urge Giolla to send the attack their way. Not falling for this trick, Giolla unleashes her powers on the Thousand Sunny and completely remakes it. Giolla is satisfied with her work while Nami, Brook, Chopper and Momonosuke look at her in horror. Giolla then says that the Straw Hats will never leave Dressrosa and urges them to surrender.
At the Corrida Colosseum, Ricky does not want an employee to treat him. The employee urges Rick to remove his helmet, but Ricky angrily refuses. Suddenly, Rebecca approaches him and Ricky remembers her from when she was younger. Rebecca tells Ricky that she needs to get treatment and Ricky agrees. Elsewhere, Diamante is seen giving Bellamy a message to kill Luffy. Bellamy is reluctant to do this as he remembers Luffy cheering for him during his match. Diamante tells Bellamy that if he does so, he will be promoted to a senior member of the Donquixote family. Meanwhile, Bartolomeo is seen walking with his suitcase and walks alongside Cavendish, who congratulates him on his victory. Bartolomeo heard that Cavendish wanted to kill “Lucy”, knowing that it was Luffy in disguise, and Cavendish, thinking that Bartolomeo also wanted to kill Luffy, told him to stay out of his way. However, Bartolomeo says that his connection with Luffy is “much deeper”.
Many competitors are seen on stage fighting in block C. Announcer Gatz announces to everyone that there is literally one giant sticking out of the group. This giant is revealed to be Hajrudin, who easily takes down a number of competitors without much effort. Hajrudin then announces that he will control the Mera Mera no Mi and become king of the giants. Suddenly, the Fighting Bull known as the Grim Reaper is seen taking down the competitors and the rider is none other than Lucy (Luffy). Luffy quickly becomes a crowd favorite, much to Cavendish’s chagrin. However, Luffy and Ucy run into Hajrudin and the giant crushes them both with a giant fist. Hajrudin celebrates, but Luffy gets up unharmed (thanks to his ability) and tends to his fallen bull friend. Enraged, Luffy uses Gear 2 to increase his speed and hardens his arm with Busoshoku Haki to punch Hajrdin, knocking the giant down in one hit. The entire crowd watches in shock as Luffy easily took down the giant.
