One Piece Episode 646

Summary:

The competition in Block C Corrida Colosseum comes to an end as Lucy goes up against Jean Bandit while the others like Kelly Funk, Chinjao and Ideo start to take out the other competitors with ease. Kelly Funk’s power is revealed, but she is easily defeated by Sai, who prepares to face the Idea. Outside of Dressros, the Straw Pirates are still dealing with Giolla and the Donquijote Pirates, and back at the Colosseum, the last two of Block C are revealed to be Lucy and Chinjao, who just clashed with Haki.

In the Corrida Colosseum, Gatz is heard announcing how Kelly Funk easily knocked down Boo with his sudden increase in strength. Sai is seen kneeling beside his fallen comrade, while Ideo is seen taking down opponents with his explosive punches. In a fit of rage, Don Chinjao knocks down the opponents while Luffy (as Lucy) tries to get his helmet back from Jean Bandit. Chinjao is still chasing Luffy, who wants revenge on Garp’s grandson, and Jean overhears, now knowing that Lucy is really “Straw Hat Luffy”. Luffy is still chasing Jean and Jean says that he is a bandit and never returns anything he steals. Luffy almost loses his beard and Jean now tries to expose Luffy more now that she knows who Luffy is. Jean starts attacking Luffy by throwing weapons at him, but Luffy dodges them all. However, Luffy loses sight of Jean and Jean is seen thinking about how he will win by collecting all the weapons in the coliseum.

Numerous competitors are seen being knocked out of the arena and it is revealed that it was Kelly Funk who used a flurry of punches to send them flying (Rarara Rambo). Gatz wonders where Bobby has gone and is surprised to see that Kelly has grown in both size and strength. The contestant on the ground remembers what happened and a brief flashback is shown where Bobby is actually wearing Kelly as a jacket. Kelly then reveals that he ate Jake Jake no Mi, making him Jacket Human and is able to put his body on top of the much stronger Bobby to strengthen himself. This was shown as Kelly easily took down Boo. Sai then confronts Kelly and says that even though he thinks Boo is the weaker individual, he is still his subordinate. Kelly tries to attack Sai again with his Rarara Rambo move, but Sai blocks every punch and easily takes Kelly down with a vicious kick. The entire crowd is shocked but delighted by what just happened. Suddenly, Sai is confronted by Idea, who is eager to fight the strongest man in the coliseum, and the two begin to clash.

Just beyond Dressrosa, Nami and Momonosuke can be seen leaving the Donquixote Pirates in their submarine. Giolla, still on the Thousand Sunny, keeps telling the straw pirates to give up. She says that with her Ato Ato no Mi power, she has turned their ship into a work of art and cannot leave Dressrosa. Giolla demands that they hand over Momonosuke, but meanwhile the other Donquixote pirates wonder where Brook and Chopper have gone. Brook and Chopper suddenly appear alongside the Donquixote Pirates in their own submarine. Suddenly, weather eggs appear from the sea and float high above, and Nami uses Thunder Breed Tempo to completely destroy the Donquixote Pirates’ submarine, angering Giolla. Nami then says that no matter how bad the suit is, she will never leave the Thousand Sunny. Nami then tells Brook and Chopper to fight but they both comment that they can’t fight in their current form and Brook calls out to Luffy. Back at the Corrida Coliseum, Luffy is shocked to see Jean the Bandit gather a large amount of weapons. Jean then challenges Luffy to a battle.

Luffy, knowing there is nothing else he can do to hide his identity from Jean, tries to get his helmet back, but Jean throws weapons at him that miss Luffy but hit the other competitors. Jean continues to throw weapons at Luffy while thanking Luffy for helping him earn so much money over the past two years. Luffy (who avoids all weapon throws) is confused by Jean’s claims, and Jean says that he managed to convert almost all the prisoners that got out of Impel Down. Jean says that he still intends to involve Buggy, Jinbe, Crocodile, Ivankov and Shirya to make a name for himself. Luffy wonders how Jinbe and Ivankov are doing as Jean continues and says that she will even release those who escaped from Level 6 Impel Down. Jean is surprised that he hasn’t managed to hit Luffy yet and continues throwing weapons, this time with his eyes closed. However, when he runs out of weapons, it turns out that some of them are stuck on Chinjao. Jean is horrified by what just happened, and an angry Chinjao knocks Jean out with a headbutt, knocking him out of the competition (with Luffy taking his helmet back before Jean was knocked down).

Meanwhile, Ideo and Sai are seen clashing and level. Gatz and the crowd are thrilled to see two warriors battling it out on equal terms. Chinjao is seen finally confronting Luffy, who wants to get revenge on Garp by killing his grandson. Luffy is still confused by Chinjao’s claims, but Chinjao says that killing Garp will be too easy for him and killing someone he loves will be even easier. Cavendish is seen yelling that he is unable to compete in Block C to kill Luffy as Bartolomeo looks on. Seeing no other option, Luffy enters Gear 2 and prepares to fight Chinjao. Luffy says that even though it’s not personal, he has to win the tournament to win the Mera Mera no Mi because he doesn’t want anyone else to have Ace’s Devil Fruit. Both Luffy and Chinjao rush in, hardening their arms with Busoshoku Haki and clashing. The force of the punches is so great that it sends out a shock wave that knocks down all the contestants and some members of the crowd. Diamante comments on Luffy and Chinjao are both Haki users and Gatz announces that they are the last two from Block C.
