Summary:
Dalton confronts Wapol but is only hit by arrows thrown by his former friend Chess. An avalanche stops the battle, but injures Sanji. Luffy has to take both Nami and Sanji to the doctor and starts climbing the mountain.
Luffy (while carrying Nami) and Sanji try to escape the avalanche. While running, Sanji spots a cliff and tells Luffy that they need to get to higher ground. They both made it to the cliff, but the avalanche reached them anyway. In various towns surrounding the Drum Rockies, some people are preparing for Wapolo’s upcoming arrival as he follows Dalton to the Bighorn. Vivi and Usopp ride the sleigh and try to get to Gyastha, but they miss the sign. In Bighorn, Wapol eats buildings while accompanied by his Bliking Pirates. Kuromarimo informs Wapol that the Straw Hats are looking for a doctor because one of their crew is sick, and that Kureha has been living in the Drum Castle during his absence. Dalton arrives at Bighorn, jumps and slashes Wapol in the chest. Wapol is quickly controlled by Isshi-20 and rises again. After failing to convince Wapolo to leave the country, Dalton transforms into a bison-human hybrid. Two people in the Wapol crew commentate and complement each other Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Bison.

In the manga, Dalton cuts off Wapolo’s head, which is promptly reattached by his doctors. In the anime, Dalton simply punches the former king in the chest.
