Chopper and Brook reach the Shark Submerge and travel back to the Thousand Sunny.
In the Seducing Woods, Luffy’s group continues to escape from Big Mom on foot. As the tree pals advance through the landscape, the Straw Hats encounter and defeat the pursuing party. As Big Mom approaches them, Nami uses Zeus to shoot a huge lightning bolt at her.
Chopper and Brook reach the river of juice where they left Shark Submerge III, only to find the river flooded with the cream that was sent there by the collapse of the Whole Cake castle. Chopper takes a liking to the cream and ends up eating enough of it to free Submerge, and the duo head to the Thousand Sunny. As they walk down the river, they spot a merman and are confronted by a massive sea creature, which they quickly swim away from.
While Luffy’s group is still on the run from Big Mom, Jinbe reveals that Big Mom is throwing a tantrum because of her desire for the wedding cake. Nami is mad at Luffy for ruining Big Mom’s wedding cake, but he and Carrot remember how delicious it was. The group comes across the bridge they came across when they first came to the Seducing Woods, though Nami notes that the bridge was destroyed earlier and that the buddies in the Seducing Woods are trying to prevent their escape. He continues to distract Zeus by feeding him storm clouds and Zeus’ colleague Prometheus berates him. Luffy decides to attack Prometheus to avenge Kingbaum, and is quickly punched by Busoshoku Haki. However, Prometheus is unharmed by the attack as he is just a pile of flames, and rains fire down on the Straw Hats. Jinbe reacts by going to the river and firing several blasts of water at Prometheus, depowering the homie.
However, after that, Big Mom’s children, who were accompanying her, managed to get in front of the Straw Hats and trap them. Luffy fends off Laurin and Compo’s attacks despite being aided by the homies Seducing Woods, and Jinbe is able to counter High-Fat’s sword attacks before being karate-struck by Fish-Man. Carrot and Tablet clash and Tablet chases Carrot on his sheep steed. However, she manages to get behind him and shock him with electricity, causing him to crash into a tree. Sanji manages to break Mobile’s swords with Diable Jambe before kicking Mobile to the ground. Meanwhile, Luffy finishes off Laurin and Comp with a single attack, and Jinbe defeats High-Fat by slamming him into the ground. Pedro runs into Kato, who remembers the last time Pedro was here five years ago. Kato insults Pedro’s deceased friend Zep, and an angry Pedro subsequently overpowers and defeats him in their next encounter.
The Straw Hats regroup, but are then chased again by Big Mom and a rejuvenated Prometheus. Sanji says they shouldn’t run without knowing where they’re going, and Carrot offers them to jump through the forest to catch a glimpse of Sunny. However, her attempt was stopped by the homies tree. Pedro then offers to go and cuts his way through the trees to get to them and allow him to see Sunny. He points the Straw Hats towards Sunny and says he will lead them from above. However, the Straw Hats find themselves under attack from Big Mom’s aerial slashes and Prometheus’ rain of fire, and Zeus ends up eating Nami’s Weather Egg in its entirety. The Weather Egg infuses him with storm energy and causes him to grow greatly in size, and Nami gets an idea when Sanji picks her up as they run away. She then uses her Clima-Tact to blow a gust of wind at Zeus, forcing him to release a huge bolt of lightning that hits Big Mom with extreme force.
