Summary:
Sanji, Pudding and Chiffon arrive at Cacao Island and begin preparing a new wedding cake with the help of WCI 31.
Back in Mirro-World, Katakuri continues to have an advantage over Luffy. With Brûlée awake again, the Big Mom Pirates prepare to attack the Thousand Sunny.
After the speed match, Katakuri predicts that Luffy will attack him with the force when Luffy activates his elephant weapon. However, his giant fist is met by Katakuri’s even larger mochi fist and he is slammed into a wall. Katakuri’s men cheer as Luffy falls to the ground, but Luffy quickly recovers and immediately tries to attack again with the Grizzly Magnum. However, Katakuri just as easily creates two larger fists and overpowers Luffy again. During their clash, Katakuri transforms his fists back into mochi and covers Luffy’s arms with them, allowing him to turn Luffy around. Luffy manages to slip out of the mochi and tries to attack Katakuri’s Gigant Ax, but Katakuri dodges the attack by forming an even bigger leg from the mochi and slams Luffy into the ground. Luffy is left lying in the crater after the attack and Katakuri says that he sees no victory in Luffy’s future as his men believe that Luffy is already defeated.
Meanwhile, Pudding handcuffs Chiffon so he can pass her off as a prisoner and manages to tell Sanji to hide in Rabiyan’s sheepfold. The group arrives at Cacao Island and Pudding assures the concerned citizens that Chiffon was not a key member of her husband Capone Bege’s plan to assassinate Big Mom. Some of the animals sense Sanji’s presence, but Pudding manages to push forward to cover him. Officer Choco takes her to the candy factory and they discuss the wedding and Big Mom’s spree. The officer states that 31 of Whole Cake Island’s top chefs have been assembled to help make the cake, and these chefs step out, ready to get to work.
WCI 31 introduces herself to Pudding’s group and she orders the citizens outside to never peek inside the candy factory. She then has each of the chefs meet her alone and she manipulates their memories into thinking that the wedding between her and Sanji was a success and that the cake was ruined by the weather. Meanwhile, Sanji shows Chiffon his plans for the cake and is taken aback by how he perfectly remembered all the ingredients just by smell. Then the custard is added to them and she tells the cooks what she did. Sanji then gives them orders, telling Chiffon to make a chiffon cake and Pudding to make chocolate, and he makes a secret ingredient that he says will unlock true happiness. They will have a short two hours and 40 minutes to bake the cake and decorate it after taking it out to sea, intending to cross paths with Big Mama and the Straw Pirates between Cacao and Whole Cake Island and feed her there. . The WCI 31 don’t think they can cook in such a short amount of time, but Chiffon intimidates them into action as the group gets to work.
In Mirro-World, Katakuri receives a call from Perospero, who tells him that the Straw Hats have escaped their blockade on Whole Cake Island, but are chasing the crew across the water. He asks about Katakuri’s fight with Luffy, and Katakuri says that he is just about to finish off the pirate. Luffy regains consciousness and overhears Perospero mocking Pedro’s sacrifice and how futile it was. Perospero tells Luffy that he will also die in vain before the call ends, and as he starts talking to Brûlée, Katakuri realizes that Luffy has risen. Luffy lunges at Katakuri and attacks him with the Elephant Gatling, but the enraged Katakuri easily dodges it before a larger mochi punches him and Luffy crashes into the wall again. Saying that he is stronger than Luffy in every aspect, Katakuri hits the pirate with dozens of mochi fists, leaving him limp on the ground. Katakuri tells Brûlée to take the soldiers and attack the Thousand Sunny, and Mascarpone and Joscarpone bring a mirror that leads to him. Luffy tries to attack them to get the mirror, but Katakuri stomps him into the ground and Brûlée gleefully holds the mirror while Mascarpone and Joscarpone aim flaming arrows at the portal to Sunny.
