Summary:
Luffy and Katakuri’s clash continues. Flampe watches the battle and plans to gain Katakuri’s favor. Luffy remembers Rayleigh’s training and begins to see the future.
Back in the sea of Totto Land, the Straw Hats manage to capture Zeus, but Big Mom continues to pursue the Thousand Sunny by riding the Prometheus.
Mirrors are breaking on Wheat Island, and the citizens fear that if the battle continues any longer, there will be no mirrors left on the island before they switch to the battle itself. Katakuri continues to overpower Luffy, but Luffy does not give up.
Back on Whole Cake Island, Mont d’Or and Niwatori are shown talking about how long the fight is going on, showing the time at 9:30 PM, which is six and a half hours since the fight started. Stussy and Morgans appear, with Morgans saying that it would be great news if the Straw Hats escaped. Stussy then reveals that it was Tamatebako who destroyed the castle.
After capturing Zeus, Nami tells him to serve under her or die. Zeus accepts the first option.
Back with Katakuri and Luffy, Katakuri beats up Luffy, then we are introduced to a new character – Charlotte Flampe who admires her older brother. She brags about how she won the best younger sister award and how she wants Katakuri’s affection. She and her subordinates try to kill Luffy, but her sniper can’t get a clear shot. In response, she stabs him in the head with a fork, showing how she still carries a spoiled attitude at 15 years old.
The anime adds the following:
Scenes of Luffy and Katakuri’s confrontation are shown when the mirrors in Totto Land break.
Before Stussy reveals the truth about Tamatebako, Morgans comments that the Straw Hats’ escape would make a good story for him.
During a flashback of Luffy’s two years of training, Luffy is shown defeating a giant gorilla and an elephant.
When Flampe stabs one of his subordinates with a fork, no blood is shown.
When Flampe is introduced, her infobox incorrectly lists her as the 33rd daughter as in the manga, even though she is already confirmed to be the 36th daughter.
The manga shows a flashback of Rayleigh training Luffy to dodge after Katakuri reveals his face to Flampe.
The scene where Luffy begins to see the future is extended.
Rather than remembering Rayleigh’s words about the nature of the attacks in the flashback, Luffy keeps repeating the words.
