Summary:
Nine red pods float up where Kanjuro reveals himself to be a spy the whole time. It also turns out to be just a drawing, with Momonosuke capturing his true self at the harbor. Luffy, Law and Kid arrive and prepare to attack the enemy ships.
None of the people who promised to arrive at Tokage Port arrive, not even Luffy. The Nine Red Sheaths realize that since they took over Udon, Kaidou’s forces will soon be notified of their presence. So they have no choice but to immediately set sail for Onigashima and board a small rowboat to navigate the turbulent waters.
This is the third time their plans have been revealed to Kaidou’s forces. Kin’emon deduces that there must be a spy among Oden’s servants. Kaidou had hinted at a spy before, but Kin’emon didn’t believe him until now.
Kanjuro makes the shocking revelation that he was a traitor. Having been persecuted all his life for being a member of the Kurozumi family, he decided to infiltrate Oden’s servants and send confidential information to Orochi. Returning to Zou, he told Jack that Raizo was located there and told Orochi about the new rendezvous point that Yasuie had given him. Orochi sabotaged the mission by bombing all the connecting bridges as well as the Thousand Sunny.
Now all of Kaidou’s battleships are aware of the Nine Red Sheaths’ location and are ready to sink their rowboat. Kin’emon defeats Kanjur, only to reveal that it is only his drawing. The real Kanjuro is still in port. He restrains Shinoba using drawn snakes and captures Momonosuke. Since Kanjuro was not on the ship, the Beasts pirates bombarded it with cannonballs.
The Straw Hats finally show up, having managed to repair the Thousand Sunny in time. Thousand Sunny hits enemy ships with cannonballs. Law’s submarine also appears underwater, as does Kid’s ship from the opposite side. Three captains prepare for battle against enemy forces.

Additional dialogue before revealing the traitor Pochev, mainly the samurai speculating about the traitor’s possible motives, Kin’emon then blames his own ineptitude for allowing one of his allies to be forced to spy on Orochi before Kikunojo talks him out of it.
The revelation of Kanjur’s betrayal is extended. Specifically, Kanjuro revealed that he betrayed the first plan of the Nine Red Sheaths to Kurozumi Orochi and gave Jack the Vivre card he needs to reach and destroy Zou.
Kanjuro draws snakes to bind Shinoba.
The Beasts Pirates fire cannonballs at the samurai and Ashura slices one cannonball in half.
Law and Kid each get additional dialogue.

In the manga, the Straw Hat Pirates appeared before attacking the Beasts Pirates ship.
In the manga, the sails of the Thousand Sunny are folded when the Straw Hats arrive, but in the anime they are spread out and seen patched.
