Summary:
The five elders discuss two recent major events in Wano Country after being informed by the remaining CP0 agent: the appearance of Nika and the subsequent defeat of Big Mom and Kaidou during the raid on Onigashi. Saturn notes that revealing such information would be impossible to censor and asks the other Elders what they should do. Meanwhile, CP0 Agent Joseph, who had returned to the World Government fleet stationed outside of Wano, reported that Zunesha had left the area. Nusjuro replies that the country will keep its borders closed and that the invasion will be thwarted, yet still asks Joseph to capture Nico Robin. However, Joseph cannot hear the others as their signal is jammed by a mysterious voice telling them to stay put as they will be there soon.
At Onigashima Castle, X Drake meets Basil Hawkins, who is barely on his feet. Hawkins learns that Drake is still in the Marine Corps, but refuses to confirm it. Hawkins then sits leaning against a pillar and reveals to Drake that he was working for Kaida because he wouldn’t stand a chance if he refused. However, he also acknowledges how Eustass Kid and Killer continued to resist despite certain death. He then reveals to Drake that the “certain man” who has one percent of surviving the raid was himself. Then he passes out.
Seven days have passed since the end of the raid and the Feast of Fire. At the school in the Flower Capital, a new teacher has replaced Sarahebi and is revising the entire history course with lessons on the life of Kozuki Oden. The citizens also learned that Komurasaki was Kozuki Hiyori and that Kawamatsu rescued her from the burning castle. They also like clean drinking water and plenty of food. They also discuss that the man who defeated Kaida was someone named Joy Boy, but he thought he was no longer in the country.
Meanwhile, at the cemetery in Ringo, Kawamatsu and Kin’emon discuss the construction of a temple dedicated to Kozuki Oden, including his fellow Daimyo, ending with a tribute to Ashura Doji and Izou. Onimaru returns to Kawamatsu and Marco has also arrived at the temple. They also consider those who are injured and pray for their recovery.
Yamato is seen sitting atop the former Orochi Castle. After hearing from Hiyori that both Luffy and Zoro are awake and fully recovered, he is excited as he kicks Momonosuke in the face. Luffy and Zoro also fail to acknowledge the grown-up Momonosuke and try to grab Nami to comfort him, only to be sent flying. Sanji and Brook then taunt Momonosuke that he is being “welcomed to the adult world” and that he can no longer have the “privilege” of staying with Nami. Yamato also teases him by putting a plate on his head.
Nami then invites Yamato to take a bath together, saying that his prayers have been answered, but he refuses as there are no communal baths in the castle. Sanji also learns that Hiyori cleaned Zoro while he was recovering, which turns into a fight between them. Amid the commotion, Kikunojo joins the women instead of Yamato. Yamato then joins the men bathing in the castle’s onsen, causing Sanji to experience another nosebleed. Nami then joins the female retainers at the female end of the onsen.
After the bath, the citizens decide to celebrate the return of the Kozuki family as Shogun of Wan. Meanwhile, Franky and Usopp are joined by Minatomo in repairing the ships, as well as General Franky at Tokage Port in Udon. Bepo and Killer are impressed by Franky’s robot, but Kid and Law and the rest of their crew don’t interact much with the other groups. Scratchmen Apoo then arrives, carried by Inbi. He brought a copy of the daily newspaper, the headline was so called “The New Emperors of the Sea” and their new rewards.
Meanwhile, Ryokugyu is flying in the air near the Wano mainland. Sakazuki is spoken to and told not to cause more commotion.
