Summary:
Nami’s group, accompanied by crew members Kida and Law, celebrate their victory against Big Mom and rest. However, the living floor begins to collapse due to the explosion, just like the battle at Skull Dome. Meanwhile, Franky saves Zoro from falling off the edge of the island and pulls him back to the island with his extension arm.
Zunesha shows up in Onigashima to help the battle, but Momonosuke is unsure if he should continue the battle. He explains to Yamato that it may not have been Oden’s intention to liberate the land of Wano if it would put innocent lives at risk.
Izou confronts the CP0 agents in the basement. The agents, Guernica and Maha, were willing to ignore him in their pursuit of the Straw Hats, but Izou refused to let them pass. After a brief battle, Izou was quickly overpowered by the agents, who both used Rokushiki to defeat him. However, when Maha fatally hits Izou in the chest with Shigan, Izou is able to shoot him down with his pistol, causing them to shoot each other down at the same time.
Guernica briefly laments the fall of Maha. He then continues his search for Nico Robin, but receives an Imperial order from the Five Elders. Seeing Luffy as a particularly dangerous threat, the World Government ordered Guernica to interrupt the battle with Kaida and immediately eliminate him as a precaution. Guernica reluctantly obeys the order, but has no idea that Drake is following him.
Komurasaki accompanies Orochi in his private chamber as he awaits the return of Fukurokuju. Orochi is impatient and frustrated, but the ceiling suddenly collapses, crushing him under the rubble. Pushing her advantage, Komurasaki drives a Seastone nail into Orochi’s body, weakening him and preventing him from using his Devil Fruit powers. She plays Orochi’s favorite song on her shamisen, revealing that the song was also her father Oden’s favorite.
At the Skull Dome, Kaidou notices that Big Mom has been defeated by Kid and Law, and begins to mourn her, thinking about how they met while serving Rocks’ crew. Taking advantage of Kaidou’s emotional state, Luffy transforms into his fourth snakeman form, claiming it as his final fourth gear. Luffy’s punches are too fast for Kaidou to anticipate and counter.
