Summary:
As the Fire Festival ends in the Flower Capital below, Momonosuke struggles and fails to create Flame Clouds to keep Onigashi at bay. With Kaidou’s flame clouds weakened enough, the island begins to collapse despite Momonosuke’s efforts.
Meanwhile, after removing the nail from the Seastone, Orochi is now able to transform into his Yamata no Orochi form, though he only has one head left. He threatens to kill Hiyori for her loyalty to the alliance.
On the roof of the Skull Dome, Luffy continues his battle against Kaidou where he uses clouds and lightning, manipulating and combining with lightning to strike Kaidou. Despite several powerful attacks being launched against him, Kaidou unleashes a series of powerful counterattacks, including Daiitoku Raimei Hakke. With a final attack that sets Luffy on fire, Kaidou claims that Haki is more important than Devil Fruit abilities for fighting with the Force, as neither Roger nor Oden ate Devil Fruits.
Inside the Skull Dome below, the remaining allied forces realize that if Luffy wins the battle, Onigashima would still crash and kill them. The allies, who are willing to sacrifice their lives to remove Kaidou from power, cheer for Luffy and hope for his victory against Kaidou.
Hearing cheers from the Dome of the Skulls, Luffy prepares a final attack against Kaidou, inflating his fist to the size of Onigashima itself. He prepares to fulfill his promise to liberate the land of Wano and declares that he trusts Momonosuke to protect the Flower Capital.
