Summary:
The chapter opens with Fukurou in a huddle on the balcony outside, having just been shot through a wall by Franky. Chopper tells Franky to listen to him. He tells Franky that they can’t do anything until they get key number 2. Franky says that at least now he knows what’s going on because Fukurou gets up. Chopper comments on how hard he is. Fukurou tells Franky that he made him very angry. Franky tells Chopper to just sit back and watch. He then takes off his shirt to reveal his shoulders. On each shoulder is what Franky calls a Destroyer Cannon. He says he hates them because they dislocate his shoulders, so Chopper tells him not to use it. Fukurou laughs and says that he can’t be bombarded because he’s a rokushiki user. Franky tells him that he can’t avoid the destroyer shot because they are “chasing cannonballs”. Chopper is amazed to hear of such technology.
Franky then runs after Fukurou and fires cannon shots at him, making Chopper realize that Franky is the one chasing Fukurou, not the cannonballs. Realizing that he has fallen for the trick, Fukurou uses Sora to get away. Franky looks around and wonders where he went. He then hears Fukurou’s voice telling him that there is no point in trying to find him since he is Soru’s master. He also mentions that aside from his speed, he is as quiet as an owl when hunting.
Fukurou brags that he executed the perfect assassination, and the target doesn’t see him until the last second. Chopper then punches Fukurou in the stomach and tells Franky that he found where he was hiding. Franky asks Fukurou if he saw it coming, which upsets him. He roars that he will not tolerate such humiliation. He then uses Sora to go to the other side of the room and use Tekkai Dama on Franky. The force of the attack is enough to knock both fighters off the balcony and into the sea. Chopper realizes the gravity of the situation. Franky could get swept into the waterfall and Chopper would have no way to save him. He can only wish Franky the best of luck.
In the water, Fukurou realizes that he still has Geppa if he goes over the falls. Franky on the other hand is having a hard time fighting the current as Fukurou wishes him to fall.
Back on land, Chopper hears a familiar voice. It’s Kumadori. Chopper is amazed that he was able to open the heavy and locked fridge door. Kumadori tries to say something but finds it difficult due to his cold body. He gets his line thanking Chopper for the food and Chopper realizes that Kumadori has gotten a lot more fat and wonders how much he ate.
In the ocean, Franky manages to get his head above water. He says that he does not want to drown in such a place and realizes that he is already at the edge of the waterfall. He then begins to panic as he begins to fall. Franky then uses the Franky Butterfly and begins to swim back to shore using the butterfly stroke. Fukurou doesn’t let him get there and uses Geppo: Dugong to send him back underwater. An angry Franky reappears and tries to use the weapons: left on him. Fukurou uses Kami-e Slime and bends his body to avoid Franky’s explosives. Fukurou told him it was bad as he got closer. Franky goes underwater again, determined to get ashore by any means necessary. He then uses the 1.0 Cola Cannon, Coup de Boo. It is launched out of the water and high into the air. Fukurou asks if he learned that he can’t defeat a rokushiki user that easily. Franky then tries to use Strong Hammer on him, but Fukurou avoids using Kami-e again and knocks Franky back to the waterfall.
Franky launches a Strong Right attack on Fukura and uses it as a hook to grab the ankle. Now he can take Fukurou with him to the bottom of the falls. Fukurou tells him that it is too much to support two people with a one-legged Gepp. Franky asks him if he wants to get back to shore before he falls or risk fighting someone while supporting the weight of two people. Fukurou tells Franky that since his own life is at stake, he will take Franky back to shore. Fukurou tells him that the battle will be over once they reach the shore, as he found a way to finish Franky with one final finishing move. The chapter ends with Franky saying he found one too.
