Summary:
The Alliance and the Vinsmoke family are hiding in Bege’s fortress. However, Big Mom regains her senses and begins attacking the fortress.
Bege comes up with a plan to escape. He reverts to human form with the alliance still inside him and has Caesar taken away from the venue.
The judge then asks Sanji why he saved his family. Sanji replies that he did it in honor of Zeff before denying the judge. After promising to never interfere in Sanji’s life or go near East Blue again, Judge volunteers to help the alliance escape. As Bege deactivates his Big Father form, the Vinsmokes engage the Big Mom Pirates in battle.
Big Mom’s pirates besiege Bege while his Big Dad form remains trapped and Smoothie squeezes out the poison Reiju attacked her with. Katakuri confronts Brûlée about her role in the enemy alliance, and she panicked assuring him that she was the victim. Meanwhile, Bege manifests in his body and notes that this was the first time one of his assassination plans had failed. He says they don’t have much time to figure out a way out, and right after that Big Mom stops screaming and comes to her senses. After Katakuri tells her about Bege’s betrayal, she becomes enraged and starts attacking him. Bege reveals that since Big Daddy’s fortress is his body, he will die if it is destroyed and everyone in it is driven right in front of Big Mom’s waiting pirates. This is soon shown when Big Mom hits Bege and destroys a rock that would normally withstand the cannon fire, leaving Bege injured inside and writhing in pain from the damage. Big Mom climbs onto Bege, peeks out the window, and tells him and Luffy to get out.
The Fire Tank pirates panic as they try to think of ways to help Bege, and Chiffon rushes to the window to beg Big Mom to spare his life. However, Big Mom becomes enraged at the sight of her, as she is reminded of her twin Lola, and Big Mom believes that she is conspiring with Bege when she tries to attack her. Luffy pulls Chiffon out of the way and decides to go outside and attack Big Mom. His crewmates stop him and remind him that they didn’t come to fight, but Luffy wants to help Bega. Bege states that he doesn’t care if the crews he’s bonded with die in the process, but he will continue to protect them to keep his family and crew safe. He then reveals his escape plan. His outer body returns to normal, everyone stays inside, and Caesar comes out and flies him to the shores of Whole Cake Island. However, Caesar objects to this idea, believing that the Big Mom Pirates will easily kill him despite his Logie powers.
Meanwhile, Judge asks Sanji why he decided to save him and his family. Sanji replied that his real father would be disappointed to hear that he had left his blood family to die for a petty revenge, even though they hid him in a cell to erase his existence as a child. Sanji remembered Judge telling him to never claim to be his child before escaping to East Blue and walks up to him, grabbing him by the neck and disowning him as his father. The judge accepts this and agrees to never go after him or East Blue in the future. Meanwhile, the others are in a frenzy as Bege’s fortifications weaken greatly and Caesar still refuses to follow the plan. The Vinsmokes then go to Bege and offer to go out and defend him and Caesar from the Big Mom pirates. Heading for the gate, Caesar is forced to move on as Bege threatens his heart, and as Bege returns to his normal form, Vinsmoke and Caesar fly off towards Big Mom.
